How utterly embarrassing. Pretty clear we sold our captain and best player with absolutely no clue how to replace him, and are now running around the market trying a failing to pick up a few bargains.

Sooner Levy has fucked off the better. Sick of seeing rivals showing proper ambition whilst we take one step forward and two steps back every summer.

Just my opinion but to me it’s abundantly clear we spent what we knew we’d get for Kane on Maddison and VDV and we’re basically trying to flog a few players to “afford” to buy Johnson. To me this concept we were going to spend the Kane money on top of what we’d already spent which included finalising Porro and Kulu deals seemed absolutely ludicrous considering how Levy is and us also not being in the CL. Personally I think we are pretty much following the plan for this summer, like it or hate it.

[Ferran Martínez] Ansu Fati's loan to Brighton might be in jeopardy. An unnamed La Liga team has come into play and tried to convince Fati. He will make a final decision tomorrow.

Wonder if Sevilla came back when they realised it wasn’t one of the big 6 English clubs in play (ignore Brighton finishing above us, we still have the pull)

This is the point I've been trying to make in other threads.

I do not like Daniel Levy. I do not like ENIC. I want them both to fuck off.

However, so many people on this site apply no logic to criticisms of Levy and constantly rewrite history, which make said criticisms seem nonsensical and undermines the whole ENIC Out stuff.

We know Fati isn't Ange's first choice. Very few people on here actually wanted him. Even fewer on a straight loan.

Yet look at the number of people shaking their fists at Levy? It literally makes no sense?

100% agree that we should be doing better this window to replace Kane, as I've said a number of times. Also baffled at the lack of a 2nd CB signing.

But if people put in loads of work into this transfer and Levy said no at the end because there was no buy option, then good. One of his better transfer decisions.
Don’t you realize You’re not allowed to have a sensible opinion on SC.

If anyone I bet it would be Sevilla. One interesting point was when we were being linked the whole salary had to be covered. Fab mentioned Brighton Is paying part of the salary. Some on here mentioned Sevilla wouldnt be able to cover all salary.

Wouldn't surprise me if Sevilla is pulling strings to try and make it work

Lol people acting as if we’ve missed out on signing Neymar on a year long loan.

I’m not convinced he for sure starts for us. Basically would be contingent on Son being moved to CF, succeeding and us demoting Richarlison. All this squad disruption only to send him back to Barcelona at the end of the season with a hole in the squad.

He’s a La Masia graduate. If he does a good job Barca is either going 1) want him back next season 2) demand a ridiculous fee [because they can]

It’s a year long loan. And big clubs don’t do this for their first XI. Move on.

Son, Solomon, Perisic.

Never should have targeted this guy in the first place. Have some faith in the players we already have please.
