Think it'd be a pretty poor move if it's a straight loan without an option / obligation surely the upside of signing Fati would be in the long-term...

I could be wrong, but I doubt he'll come in and make a huge difference right away.

I doubt baldy sanctions a loan with no option, we aren't a feeder club and Barcelona need the finances.

So what have they lied about?
Im confused
I never said they lied I said the PR aids for the club and only feed info if it’s fed directly . I can’t remember the last time one of them had an exclusive without it coming from the club. That was my point . Some of them have lost their way abit !

Can we stop debating one or the other, we want both! I'm not sure where the 'If you had to pick only one' debate has come from. If we do the deals we want to do, we will sign Fati on loan with an option, Johnson on a permanent and another CB. We have several to shift still but the club is still very positive. A very big 24 hours coming up where we need to line up as much of this as possible before heading into the last day.
I think it's not that we don't believe the info from our beloved ITKs or the intent from the club's side, it's more that we've been hurt before and so are unsure of the outcome. Fingers crossed, hoping for both, it actually seems doable for once. And a CB ❤️

Why don’t Barca want him anymore?…
From what I gather Deco has gone in at Barca, and with him being an agent, he is going to start to push certain players. He pushed Vitor Roque to Barce.

With Barca's finances I imagine they have to make way and space, with players like Fati been shown the door rather than patience.

I personally think getting Felix in and pushing others out is a HUGE mistake.

Do people not take into account that the ITK’s are all saying we want both!?
No they don't, and tbh I don't blame them. If I wasn't lucky enough to get some info, I would probably be exactly the same because of what's happened in previous windows. Even now when I'm being told we want both, I still doubt it because it just seems like there is so much to do with so little time left. Johnson is advanced and so is Fati, that is a fact. Whether or not we can get the deals over the line remains to be seen, but as it stands, I'm confident we get both.

That's a great way to look at it. I don't think we will sign both but that's not me doubting you, WLB etc it's just my view of the club and the competence of the people in charge.
Hopefully they prove us wrong and we can start to have greater amount of optimism but it would be a surprise

Totally agree with both of you. It’s the millstone of history that ways heavily. 😄

Not sure why people are so worried about his injury record. Go and take a look at Messi and Robben's injuries at his age, then look at the number of games they played later in their careers. He's 20 years old, some players have issues while they're developing.

Because apart from a few on here, we’re yet to hear about a deal beyond this season. So what happens later in his career means nothing.
