I actually like the hour videos and the less structured feel. As mentioned up thread they feel less like a generic fan youtube page. He's a good guy. I love some of his other quirks too; those funny voices.

The problem is they appear to be more regular these days so there is repetition and, as people are bullet-pointing the key points, less incentive to commit. He's oversaturating. Someone mentioned having another presenter and he does do one via his Gold and Guest Podcast. The content will pretty much mirror exactly the youtube videos but you get the two presenter set up. Rob Guest is a toffee but seems like a good guy although he absolutely butchers the English language.

Anyway, if you still occasionally drop in here, keep going Ally. COYS.
Yeah this is exactly it. When something significant happens, his videos are great, usually a few little titbits of interesting insight.
But when nothing has happened and he is just listing players we may or may not sign then it is quite repetitive and as you say, oversaturated.

Just watch him on at 1.5x speed - I love Ally Gold - think he is enjoyable to listen to even if he does waffle a bit

This may have been covered before but I find the easiest way to make the football.london website palatable is to copy the link into 12 foot ladder (https://12ft.io/).

Still looks the same but removes all the pop ups etc. Love his content but the state of that website is an absolute disgrace.

On that note, thanks to @Rob and Co. for making it that this site doesn't feel like a battle against ads like so many other big fan forums do.

I don't know why I never knew this before, but I saw on one of his Twitter posts a while ago someone say if you're trying to navigate through the hellscape that is the Football.London site to read any of his articles on your phone, just choose the "Reader View" option (usually at the top of the page, could be an Aa symbol or an page icon) and you just get the text, no pop-ups, no ads, no shite.

Completely changes the experience and can't believe I didn't know about such simple thing already.
