Quite right, but TBF it's been constructive criticism meant well. But even so, however he does it, there will always be someone who doesn't like how it's presented so i'd agree with you, for now, he should do it in a way he's comfortable with.

But I think that ultimately, it'll evolve as he goes along.

He once said he'd been asked to produce podcasts but didn't really want to. A few months later he teamed up with Rob Guest to produce one. So I agree, his YouTube videos may evolve in the same way. However he does them, I'll follow him.

That's just not true - perhaps you don't listen closely enough. Ally often has a unique take on things and will often be the first to a news snippet. He's modest enough to never claim exclusivity.

I appreciate your response mate, I admit I never get through the whole show so chances are I've missed bits, but honestly cant remember anything being groundbreaking. A lot of it we already tend to know through social media and SC. I respect him though.

This just isn’t true & it’s quite easy to listen ( I don’t actually watch it as listen through AirPods as I work ).

If he’s gonna do regular YouTube videos he should get a better set up. Like desk microphone etc it’s just an easier watch. I presume he’s just using camera from a laptop. And his whole head fills my TV and it’s a bit disconcerting ? maybe consider getting a side kick as well, these things work much better when you have someone to bounce off. Can chat bit of banter and it’s just less boring and you can easily fill an hour. Seems good mates with Jonathan Veal should do it with him or Dan Kilpatrick.

Ally's videos used to be a lot tighter - 30-40mins (or often shorter), he's just evolved into a lot of rambling and self-correction now. Sure it's the summer so there's lots going on but there's no depth in him just repeating things he's already said 5 times or trying 11 different pronunciations of words. He's definitely getting worse, too.

I love Ally and always watch his stuff, but he could afford to keep things a bit shorter, that's all.

Why? That already exists.

I'm not trying to be antagonistic, but I enjoy his long form chats as do plenty of others. If you want short 60 second updates, watch short 60 second updates. As it is his channel stands out because it is different to all the others. As a professional journalist he always has a unique perspective as well.

Yeah I think part of the appeal is that he just feels like a genuinely nice bloke who loves his job and loves Spurs. He's so unpretentious and it kinda feels like listening to a mate down the pub.

I just had the latest video on in the background while doing some mundane tasks and it was enjoyable to have on.
Not much new- but the only thing I will say is things are really changing quickly this summer. Things AG said two days ago are out of date and new reports already out there- it's crazy this summer.
