The move doesn't make any sense at all. Surely a Premier League team would take him if we're looking to loan him?

It's all about building up his match fitness. He will not do that with us this season. He will be full ready to stake a claim from July onwards

So Burnley have come to us and said can we loan one of your players who won't be avle to play for us for six to eight weeks please.
A player we have been nurturing back to health and fitness we are going to hand over to a championship side to make the decision on when it is safe for him to play again and risk his future fitness.

I don't think so; twice!

Would he get playing time? Which PL club would give minutes to a loanee just coming off a bad injury and 7 months of not playing?

Understand that West Brom have made a last ditch move for Alex Pritchard and are set to land him on loan.

Daily Mirror report Spurs attacker Alex Pritchard is set to join West Brom on loan for the rest of the season. #THFC

Now that I can get on board with. If he signs for West Brom then that's clear progression from last season. It's not quite the break through at Spurs we had hoped for, but, considering his injury problems, it amounts to making the best of a bad situation.

Terrible move for him. Pulis and their anti-football system is the exact opposite of what we are trying to do. At least he'll get experience at playing the big teams I suppose.

Not sure WBA is a great move for him. Exactly the type of player Pulis will bench all season in favour of more physical lads. Not saying they're similar standard but he's already done it with Gnabry.

WBA is a great move for him

He has nothing to learn in Championship. Already he was in Championship team of the year & carried a team to playoffs
Burnley may have been good but again, not sure what he could learn there.

Playing in PL is far better proposition. Its a steeper learning curve. WBA may not be playing good football. But what if he gets the chance to start & be their chief creator in a XI that is devoid of creativity. Thats a challenge isnt it ?

We say WBA play long ball, but reality is we play more long balls (or atleast in top2) than most PL teams.
Sessognon starts for WBA who is a decent player. IMO, Pritchard should target his spot in XI.

West Brom? Really? Couldn't think of a worse manager for him to develop under than Pulis.

He was one of the best players (if not the best) in the championship last year, surely there should be bottom half teams queuing up to take him on loan?
