Cool actually mate, no chance at goal, made a save, came off his line good.

Met him before the game, briefly, shock those big hands (even for a big guy like me, he has huge hands!), he ruffled kids hair, but didn't have a pen for autograph.

Nice fella though, really nice.

BO - Yeah, I think for the guys that were playing last night, loan would most definitely benefit them. Bostock, if he doesn't break into 1st team, then I'd like to see him loaned to either Championship team or even lower prem team, would do him the world of good, very good technically.

Danny Rose took his goal well, but he did do a rather embarrassing dive in the first half, and stayed down injured after ;-)

Alnwick - worries me that the depth of our keepers isn't that good to be honest. I know we have Gomes and Cudicini, but Alnwick really doesn't seem that good..... Aldershot keeper seemed way better.

Yeah i was at the Burnley game at Turf Moor in the semi final and Alnwick was awful, defenders had no confidence in him whatsoever.

Thnaks for the roving reporting Shanks. SSN beckons for you soon me thinks ;-)

It certainly didn't sound like the best of displays, but I'm pleased about Bostock, I do have high for this lad.

Your son got to his first game aswell thats great, a good bit of father son bonding watching Spurs. Couldn't get better, well it could if we would've won!!

Bostock really did impress me, even in the woeful team display.

The little boy loved it.

As soon as we got there, he started screaming ' Come on Tottenham' .. made me proud!

Now, he actually sat there for 90 mins, he did get a little distracted, he enjoyed himself.

Funniest part for me, was him running to the side of the pitch, and shouting to the players whilst running past him with ball ' Excuse me, can you pass the ball to me please?'

And he also wanted to go on the pitch and play with them, which he didn't quite understand either.

He has already told his mummy this morning that he needs to practise his football today, so he can play for Tottenham. He is bloody good already for a 3 yr old ;-) (although I'm training him for goalkeeper, like his dad!)

Cheers for the report Shanks. Slightly disapointing result, but obviously its just pre-season and Aldershot are a good league 2 side.

Glad Bostock seemed to play well, lets hope Harry has a plan for him.

It's hard to judge how well Adlershot will do this year, but I reckon they stand a good chance of progressing, although Notts County have to be favourites to win this year.

Shots have a decent set up, the boy will be playing for their youth teams as soon as he is old enough.

Thanks Shanks, how was Naughton generally?

Pretty good mate, one of the better players. The right hand side was generally quiet in the second half, most of Shots play came from our left hand flank, in which we had young Tom Carroll in the midfield spot.

Naughton got up and down well, good touch, some nice plays, I can see this kid being in the first team really, him and BAE down the flanks could actually be pretty dangerous.

Just didn't have the team around him to do anything major, and if Taraabt could actually pass quickly, then it could have been a better score, but when we were on the break, Tarrabt, would get the ball, do a step over, stop, he'd be surrounded by two or three Shot players, and either lose the ball trying to get out of the pickle, or send a bad pass.

lol yeah if only taraabt could pass the ball, was just frustrating watching him pissing about with the ball while there are 3 aldershot players around him and half his teammates are free lol..

Bit of a shame about Alnwick, I thought he did really well when he stepped up. Remember his save from BAE's backpass? Did show some real promise.

Aye, but against Burnley he was pretty rubbish too.
