I usually/used to wear white boots. Now I wear silver boots. Does that mean I used to be good, but aren't anymore?

nah, you're still good but unfortunatly you're no longer able to cure cancer.

Could be a good signing, except for a few niggling things I was thinking...

Was he holding out for a better deal by delaying his decision?

Was he reluctant to come down South - so may not settle in well?

The first has obviously been sorted, but the second, if it applies?

Da Costa the defender from PSV moved from PSV to Fiorentina the other day. He is allowed to play in Fiorentina's UEFA cup campaign as PSV only played in the CL. So that is literally the same situation as we are in so i am pretty sure he is able to play for us

Poor Pascal, I wonder how the chap is felling!? :-(

I'm sure he's wondering what could have been if he wasn't so overrated, and not such a ****. Ah well. Hopefully we'll be able to foist him into some other poor club in the next day or so.

That's funny Stoof.

So's the notion that Chimbonda's any good

Chimbo's agent as apparently come out and said he's going no where  So that's just Hutton, Chimbonda, Gunter and Stalteri as our first time right-backs then?

its okay. atleast someone gets use out of it :( We certainly dont.

and my input...

Enjoy this transfer. We sure arent. Alan Hutton is a future world class player...hes not far of it atm! Just remember how we feel right now in 18months time when a bigger team comes in offereing £20million for him.

If Hutton has not yet kicked a ball in the UEFA cup then he should not be cup tied, Rangers have only just droped down from the Champion s League haven't they so he should be ok for UEFA cup.

There doesn't seem to be much info on the main site and there isn't a pic with him wearing the shirt.

What's he playing at?

hi, Rangers fan here and thought id pop on and see whats being said down here (got a soft spot for spurs so dont worry).

First off, for anyone who has any doubts regarding Huttons ability...dont. Ive give my right testicle for him to not go.

If you're wanting other good clips of hutton check out our 3-0 win against celtic earlier in the season. He puts in a fantastic ball for the 1st goal. Also look for Scotland vs Ukraine. Another fantastic ball to mcfadden for the 3rd goal there. Thats about all i can find from him on youtube, but you're really dying to see him, there are highlights of most rangers games from this season on there, you just need to go look.

Im still holding out some hope that he'll stay but our illustrious chairman David Murray is pretty much forcing him out the door. He'll be brilliant for yous, far better than that Chimbonda whos a right diddy!

And to the guy who said something about it not being hard to be best rangers and scotland player...you obviously know fuck all mate! Scotland had a fantastic campaign last year and there were 11 players in every game (bar vs georgia) who could put in a shout for MOTM every game. Hutton just outshone them all. He'll prove his worth if he goes.

And just remember, loyalty is a rare thing in football these days. To even think about staying at Ibrox when Spurs are offering that sort of money shows you the kind of person he is.

I think everyone missed this in the excitement buddy. Great info! Thanks for your time and good luck to Rangers!

reluctant? yes he was. You have to realise why though. His wife is 7 months pregnant. She wont want to do much but binge eat on prawns, never mind move into a new home. A lot of stress she wont need.

And Hutton is also a big rangers man. Has been all his life. No matter where his career goes, it'll always be hard leaving your boyhood heroes. I fully believe he'll come back later in his career.
