At ths moment in time, the majority of my ire is directed to the shower on the pitch today.

Why is your anger directed only at AVB? The board made the choice to appoint him and heavily back him. Why don't you complain about them?

Good idea, once that lot go just watch the fast flowing attacking football commence. Sodaldo will bag 40+ goals, oh happy days.

They appointed him and may have made a mistake in doing so but they are not directly responsible for what we have witnessed today or the dire football we have played so far this season.

I thought the board made an ambitious and positive move by bringing in AVB, and they rewarded the record points finish by backing him with the Bale cash. I don't see anything wrong with that, as AVB certainly seemed like a risk worth taking.

That risk could still turn out to be a wise move by the board, but right now it's AVB that is coming up short of expectations in pretty much every department.

I don't blame the board at all for bringing him in.

Managers come and go, Board will always stay to take the profits

Having anger at the board is pointless as there arent enough of us who are angry at them and then, often the board sack the manager to take the heat off themselves.

I don't really want him out.

I want him to grow a pair of balls and go for, attack teams and show them no mercy. We have the squad to do this, but regardless of who we play, we are not creating chances, we are devoid of any attacking intent and poor Soldado might as well be on Mars he is so isolated, be cause the only thing we are capable of doing is passing back, left and right. The problem is, how we play.

AVB, can and should be getting us playing attacking football, as deep down that is what I believe he wants to do, but past experience are holding him back and he hasn't got the confidence to do this. Maybe it is the pressure of having to make CL football is sending him a bit lala. Whatever the reason though, he should be getting us playing attacking football and creating more chances. We look sterile and devoid of ideas. It seems like he saw 4-2-3-1 get us up there last year (when we had Bale to bail us out) and seems to think that this is okay. It is not, the 4-2-3-1 is destroying us, it is clearly not working.

I want him to have the confidence to implement his attacking 4-3-3 or another formation, but most importantly get us attacking quickly and devastatingly and to do it wave after wave for 90 minutes. I would rather go down in a blaze of glory than go down in that negative shower of shit that I saw today. I did the fucking ironing to cheer myself up for FFS!!

AVB, simply needs to grow a pair of balls and stop playing the likes of Dawson and Lennon. Even Townsend has a role to play if he can start making the right choices rather than trying to be Bale mk2. For example;

Chadli ---------- Soldado ---------- Lamela

Eriksen ---------- Capoue
Sandro

Rose ----- Verts ----- Vlad ----- Walker

Lloris

A proper 4-3-3 with one intention and that is to constantly attack as fast as possible.

sacking the board will not help the players improve, but replacing AVB will...

The board obviously had reservations about him when he was appointed, he asked for a DOF in his first season, he didn't get it. He asked for Moutinho and got Dembele, he asked for Willan and got Dempsey, who was sold after just one season at the club. Why appoint someone you don't fully believe in? They took a risk but if that risk fails surely someone has to take responsibility.

No but Mullers has a point, the Board at the moment have a extra £35million from last year after the new tv deal, stub hub and the fact we made a profit.

Now of course the Board have to answer questions FFS. I agree with what you are saying but the board have let us down as well

And moutinho is exactly the type of player we are missing IMO- the board should have backed Avb on that one. I would be interested to know how many of this summers buys were avbs choice

Players don't seem to be playing for him in the last few months, reminds me of the latter stages of the Ramos era
If the players are still with him I would back him, at least till the end of the season and make a decision then.
I fear a bad xmas period and the tin tack for AVB

Yeah I know, ever heard of emotion after a humiliating 6-0 smashing by a bunch of ****s, because our manager refuses to see that possession fucking football ain't working for us.

Hopefully, this shower of shit will make him realise that it is not all about possession, but rather what you do with the fucking ball, and actually attacking would be a pretty fucking good start.

You're right of course, you can understand why they appointed him BUT that's not the point though SK. I think the point is that how many more failures do we tolerate before the one constant throughout, the one person who keeps appointing these supposed duds, the one person with whom the buck surely stop at, is finally held accountable for the whole grand debacle? Being sharp in your financial dealings and getting a new stadium built is creditable and has brought him cult status amongst a few (The BSoDL) but as with our managers, (Harry is a prime example of this) the credit runs dry eventually. Or it should do anyway.

Nobody is saying Levy hasn't been good for the club or hasn't done good, or can't continue to do so, but if we're going to be so unforgiving, lets not be selective about it.

yeah but you argued about it for several posts, the only reason why I didn't answer your last post there was because I was on my ipod and couldn't copy and paste my reply properly.

Strange thing is though we signed Paulinho rather than a player of similar style
