While I agree with you, winning those three games isn’t going to be easy. Brighton and Wolves are both decent, and while Palace are having a torrid time right now, if they sack Hodgson tomorrow and get Cooper or someone in, they could get a bounce just in time to play us.
I think we beat Palace regardless.

It will be difficult to win the next 3 though because as you say Brighton and Wolves are decent, 7points from the next 3 would be good enough really and much more likely in my opinion.

I’m hoping Brighton will suit us and we’ll be able to outscore them. Wolves will be tough though.

2 wins in 6, against Sheffield United and Burnley, which they only won because of a dodgy penalty. They were getting fortunate wins as well before that.

What run? They've got 2 wins in 7.

Chill out a bit and look at some facts before you panic and post

Hardly panicking, am I?

Just said it's going to be a scrap for 4th, which of course it will be.

brighton outplayed us at home, wolves pretty much too. not easy games at all but yeah, must win

Agreed but Brighton we had Emerson and Davies at the back and Kulu in the 10, PEH from the start., all four positions should be strengthened, the only downgrade is Werner for Son.

More people expected top 4 than any other result.

If you want to be pedantic.
Sorry, not my intention to be pedantic I was just stating my original point was accurate, more of us expected us to be outside of the top 4 than in it, that's all.

I assume we need both remaining English clubs to go very deep in the CL for the prem to get 5 spots?

I would assume if they both make the semi's and then one of the English teams makes the semis/final of the Europa we should be good.

Cheers, my google-fu was weak and couldn't find the coefficient lists. Be nice to get top 4 and not worry about it but possibly a back door into the CL is welcome too. I'd even allow Citeh to win the whole thing if it helps.

Whatever race we're in, we HAVE to win our next 3 games.

Brighton, Wolves and Palace all at home.

If we get 9 points there it will put us in a really strong position going into the final stretch.

But if we drop points it'll be pretty disheartening.
I’d take 7 right now, think 9 will be very difficult especially the way Brighton & Wolves are playing.

For what its worth OPTA gives a 77% likelihood that England gets 5 spots even despite Utd and Newcastle's shocking campaigns last year

Annoyingly UTD are still within reach of us after today. They're starting to believe and suddenly know where the goal is. It's typical of them to always be able to stay close despite being abjectly shit for large periods of the season. The individual quality they have has over the years got them reaching above where their coaching should have them.

Still thinking we have a chance of the title after today’s result . Beat Arsenal,City and Liverpool and we’ve won it !

It’s very tight at the moment, Italy have 14.0 coefficient points, Germany 13.642, and England 13.625. If our remaining teams make deeper runs than either Germany or Italy we’ll get it. The first knockout round could be very consequential - Napoli Inter Lazio Leipzig are all in real danger, and any surprise early exits from EL or ECL could have a big impact.

Yeah it might be, and maybe you're not panicking, but your post wasn't really factual was it? Which is why it appeared to be a bit "panicky".

And 3 of our last 5 games are at home against City and Arsenal and away at Anfield. It could be a majestic run-in for us (or an abject disaster, or somewhere in between).

We’d of had it in the bag by now if Micky’s hamstring didn’t go and all the rest that followed 😂

But it does look to be a scrap with Villa and United for top 4 now.
