Yeah he got the wrong man. Yates should have had 3 yellows in that game by the letter of the law and possibly one more cos he's a dislikeable ****Hilarious that Nuno thinks Maddison should have seen red

Problem I have is that no player is playing themselves as indispensable in the middle. They all seem to be shit and then come on subsequently and do a bit more. Everyone lauding Bentancur and Hojbjerg and next week they will be shit and Sarr and Biss will be ok. Need some stability. I thought Lo Celso played well in his cameo over Maddison......He’s been shite since the Luton away game where he got ridiculously sent off . Bentancar still our best 6 or 8 has to be given a run now !
even lo celso ahead of Maddison
We're you at the game?Bisoumma started very well, big part of our start and the first goal. People decided he was at fault for their goal and criticised him for the rest of the half. He didn’t make as many mistakes as Hobjerg. Just a bit of consistency is fair.
Yates should have been sent off in the last game I seem to remember he was a wind up merchant last time asking for cards.Yeah he got the wrong man. Yates should have had 3 yellows in that game by the letter of the law and possibly one more cos he's a dislikeable ****
Yates deserved a card for simulation on that.Yeah he got the wrong man. Yates should have had 3 yellows in that game by the letter of the law and possibly one more cos he's a dislikeable ****
Not today but been enough times to know that a lot of fans that go don’t know there arse from the elbow. We're you at the game?
Aren't they all.Don’t disagree but still prone to the odd sloppy pass in bad areas.
He demonstrated why he is playing a cameo role. He only got a sniff today due to the piss poor efforts of Bissoma and Sarr in that first half. He is a square peg in Ange's round holeThe post he was responding to said "Hojbjerg was exceptional." He certainly wasn't exceptional, but he really helped us to see out the game.
He started off well with some good tackles, settled us down with some sensible passes and had a good long shot. Then he had a minute of madness that put us under a lot of unnecessary pressure.
I’d suggest we have progressed, just not in the way you think. We were playing on confidence and bravado at the start but I believe the players are now more conscious of their mistakes and end up losing confidence when they realize they’ve made an error.I'd be interested to receive the evidence of how we have progressed in the last 4 months from those that disagree. I'm not saying that in a combative way, genuinely interested in other perspectives and what I may have overlooked?
Here's an opposing view. It’s not good enough if we want to seriously challenge for honors going forward. Someone earlier mentioned Conte’s comments about us after the Southampton game. I agreed with what he said then; it’s been true about us as a football club for decades. It’s no coincidence that the only club two serial winning managers, albeit they weren’t necessarily a good fit for us, have failed to win a trophy at is Tottenham. There’s a cancer of underachievement at the club.
Sorry but didn’t understand the questionI'd be interested to receive the evidence of how we have progressed in the last 4 months from those that disagree. I'm not saying that in a combative way, genuinely interested in other perspectives and what I may have overlooked?
You say that, but you've already insinuated that Hojbjerg didn't change the game. Not today but been enough times to know that a lot of fans that go don’t know there arse from the elbow.
Bit like your grammar then? Not today but been enough times to know that a lot of fans that go don’t know there arse from the elbow.
I didn’t insinuate anything, I said Bisoumma started well and helped the team control the opening period and had a big part in the first goal and if he he got worse as the the half went on you could say it was similar to the game Hojbjerg had, although I actually thought he made more mistakes on the ball. A bit of consistency in criticism is all I’m saying. You say that, but you've already insinuated that Hojbjerg didn't change the game.
You've immediately made a comment on Hojbjergs mistakes, rather than his influence.
I don't recall him making so many misplaced passes, and I can't find the stats.
All you've done is throw out some passive aggression.
Closer to the truth than most and the extra pressure on players who had to fill in. You can really lose your mojo and get it back. Change one lightbulb and the whole lot blow and sometimes never get it back 100%.Here's an opposing view.
You remember when we got 2 red cards and 2 long term injuries to key players in the same game? Maybe if that one freak game didn't happen we would have got more than 1 point in 5 games? Instead of losing to Chelsea (H), Wolves (B), Villa (H), West Ham (H), we would have been good for something like 9-10 points from those?
That's the difference from where we are and still being right in the title race.
ouchBit like your grammar then?
