So the two players Mourinho clearly earmarked at the beginning of this window (along side full back and central Midfielder) and we're still no closer to those players. One would clearly look to improve the starting 11 and the other improves the glaring hole in the squad for nearly the last two seasons.

It's amazing how people keep telling me to fuck off yet we've had ITK via the Goat and Ali Gold as well telling us that Mourinho has been vocal about getting this sorted.

I'll be over joyed if Skriniar and one of the multitude of strikers we've been linked with happen but right now, it doesn't feel close and we've gone from names to 'we'll get X, Y, Z' but the names seem to either be missing or dwindling. Have at it, but it's the fucking same.
Oh dear I can see you're having a mare today buddy. I'm not sure how much closer you want things to be than seeing our head scout literally at the club were trying to sign a player from as well as there being multiple news sources talking about the closeness of a deal.

No we haven't always.

a grown man who cant understand you cant always afford what you want when you want it. If you took the same approach to your own bank account your credit cards would not look healthy.

I never mentioned the whole window though, everyone else has inferred that, including you.

If me being negative about the (possibility) that a deal for Skriniar never materializes/falls through is me being negative for the sake of it, then so be it. I know i'd rather we continue to push on to improve the starting 11 rather than look to buy more of the of which we already possess.

Same for the back up striker but this is the wrong thread for that.

If we had signed a striker and a CB first I am sure you would be moaning we hadn't signed a right back and a CM. The world isn't perfect things don't always just fall in your lap in the order you would like or for a price that works. We have signed 5 players 4 of them will be regular starters and improve the first 11 that's the best window I can remember in my lifetime. If we don't sign Skriniar now I will be gutted as it looks close and you get that excitement and feel let down but lets be honest a top expensive CB was never an expectation. If we don't sign a striker I will be pissed off and I think everyone will be but until the window closes we really have nothing at all to moan about I think we have been pretty spoilt this window!

Yeah, I should check my entitled view points at the door. Who wants to be in debt in this climate. Well said.

Alright lads, I’m ‘ere for Skriniar news not you lot ganging up on VSLP. They disagree with you, so what? No need for you all to mob-up and try hounding them out. Just disagree and move on.

If we should be bullying anybody, it’s @SargeantMeatCurtains - who got absolutely roasted by @THFCSPURS19 earlier.

While I appreciate the sentiment mate, probably let them go, seems like folk are back on board with the board and fair play who wouldn't be after the attempts this window to sort this squad out.

We've disagreed plenty and we still get by, I may as well start a new generation up of thinking I'm a **** and see how it goes.

No Offence Intended I think you have valid frustrations a striker seems to be something Levy just cant get to grips with signing and I think that's probably because the last genuinely good purchase was Berbatov and that's 15+ years ago. We have had some serious let downs in terms of performance and they always seem to be priced higher than other positions and depreciate just as quickly when they don't score. But as a whole even if we didn't sign another player this window we will be stronger than we were last year. Not signing a striker would still be a failure but lets wait until the window closes to discuss that.

Jesus Christ you see all these new pages and you get excited then you come in to this drivel. Come on folks, save your anger for deadline day when Deeney arrives!*

*disclaimer: All in jest. Levy is having a stormer, love the bald bastard.

No offence taken, fair points made in both posts. Absolutely agree with you, and I hope that come the end of the window we're genuinely all happy.
