Exactly. Same journo peddled similar shit earlier in the season.

If Mourinho wanted him out, he wouldn’t be on the bench and praising him publicly, it’s that simple.
If he's praising him publicly why isn't he playing him?

I mean c'mon this really isn't that unbelievable.

If true, sell and reinvest the funds. Central Midfield is the one position we're pretty well off in. Yes, it would hurt to lose him but we need to get funds from somewhere because we know it isn't coming from the top.
I'm not sure I'd consider Lo Celso, Winks & Sissoko "pretty well off". We need more quality going forward than that.

Look at you lot wetting the bed. We win, we controlled the game, we kept a clean sheet, and you guys are far more concerned that your favourite player on FIFA didn’t get on. I want him to succeed with us as much as anyone, he’s all flair and imagination which is what I want to see at Spurs, but the manager isn’t going to bring him on to do him a favour, it’s up to Ndombele to be patient and make himself undroppable once he does get a chance. I’m no Winks fan, but he came on as Mourinho wanted to tighten up the side to ensure the clean sheet. Lamela and Bergwijn came on because Dele and Lucas weren’t clicking. If the only reason to bring on Ndombele is ‘points are in the bag so we can carry him while he figures things out’ then he shouldn’t come on. This isn’t Teenage Bale 2009 who had been plagued by injury and poor luck despite perfect professionalism coming on 4-0 up v Burnley, this is our record signing showing up a stone overweight and with not endurance having got a big move and losing the trust of two consecutive managers. I hope he turns it around and becomes the player we thought we were getting, but if he doesn’t then that’s on him, he took his career for granted when he had everything set up for him and it’s up to him to not repeat that mistake if he’s lucky enough to get another chance. I hope he gets it, but if he doesn’t it’s his own fault.

Jesus wept.
Have our other central midfielders made themselves undroppable? Winks? Dele? Sissoko probably the best of them.

He’s new to the league and needs game time to adjust.

i can’t see where your evidence is to support the conclusion that it’s his own fault...

Disagree. Lo Celso is special, and winks/sissoko are good squad players who can fill in many roles in midfield. If we plan on playing a midfield 2, 4 box-to-box style players cannot fit.

Maybe José is testing his attitude to the hilt? Maybe he will unleash him next game and get him fired up to the player we all know he can be? Personally if I was the player I would be driving home calling my agent.

You’re the Vincent janssen of posters.
Only because you don't like the fact your fan boy love in for a player who has pretty much done the square root of fuck all since he arrived is annoying you.

Chin up, we got the number eight we needed, at the wrong end of the summer window.

If true it’s real shame but I don’t really blame Jose, he literally praised Ndombele before United and then okay he didn’t play because his profile wasn’t needed and then Ndombele throws his toys out the pram before the game today. I’ll be gutted more than anyone to see him go but his camp have been leaking stories like this all year and quite frankly it’s pretty poor, he’s just not coped with the Prem and the injuries he’s had well at all. Compare him to the way Lo Celso has gone about his business, he had a long injury and wasn’t an initial favourite of Mourinho but kept grafting without complaint.

Come on, prior to lockdown he would have been hanging onto any sort of future under Mourinho by the skin of his teeth - and even that is because Mourinho is at a weak point in his career and has to tread very carefully, peak Mourinho would have banished him I reckon.

What does Mourinho value in a player? Disciplined guys who will follow instructions, tough mental characters, and people who will work hard and go the extra mile. All Ndombele's silly bollocks so far (fitness, attitude/soft mentality, workrate) flies in the face of what Jose holds dear.

He was never starting these games, so why the shock I don't know. And it is no surprise to me either that he hasn't come on and is way down the pecking order. I think it's quite probable that Mourinho and co. are going to make him jump through hoops and see just how determined he is. If he just gives up, that is the question answered as far as Jose is concerned.

The guy has to knuckle down. He's in match squads, at some point - whether it be next week, next month, next season - a chance will emerge if he's kept working hard and Mourinho regains some trust in him, and then he's got to start showing the qualities that Mourinho holds dear out on the pitch. But at the moment, I don't see how this is surprising to people.

He's been praised with regards to his application, isn't it important to give a player a little confidence boost especially given his circumstances to know he's heading in the right direction? 2-0 up 10 minutes to go, even a few minutes just get on the pitch and show some trust in him to close the game out.

Don't be surprised if noises suddenly emerge in France again about the midfielder being unhappy at his lack of game time if he doesn't start against the Hammers.

Those around the 23-year-old are very quick to voice their/his displeasure to the media back home but that would only result in Mourinho kicking his heels in further.

From Alasdair after United.

First of all, he wouldn't get even a bench if that news is true. Second, it's the same sitaution as in April. Stories from France that Ndombele wants to leave when stories from English are saying that Mourinho wants him and club doesn't want to sell. Also, maybe we should start to worry if Mou would use 5 subs and Ndombele wouldn't be one of them but he just doesn't use them.

Ah the Wolves game followed by the Burnley game were his last showings in the league ...

Loving the running commentary on him being fun to watch ... Those two games, (limited) against Wolves and the 45 against Burnley he was fun to watch?

Blokes stealing a living and some of you are still fucking enamoured with his youtub highlights and his cameo against fucking Villa.

Sell him, we bought two eights and he isn't the same class as Gio.

You honestly chat the most shit on this forum. You start rows constantly, and you’re ALWAYS wrong. You could start a fight in an empty room and still get beaten the shit out of. Fuck me, what a bore.
