There was clearly a choice, but I agree we shouldn't write off Ndombele.

What choice? Ndombele had been on our radar for over a year... Him and Fernandes don't belong in the same conversation.

This is just inane nonsense ramblings from impatient Spurs fans get again when a player we are linked with plays well, it's boring.

How can the club get away with charging ridiculous ticket prices for a team like this?

I was thinking of going to this game and where I usually want to sit (upper 503), it was around £84 for a ticket. Chuck in a train ticket and something to eat, you're looking at £110-£120 for a game of football.

Even so, looking like a complete waste of money and Fernandes is still quality.

Not sure you can call him complete waste of money after 6 months and when he has played all be it iInfrequently he has looked quality on the whole.

given it looks like it was a choice between Lo Celso and Fernandes I don’t think we did too badly!

I’m sat with a crappy connection and a stream that hasn’t worked since we scored. I’m not sure I want to keep trying to connect after reading what you lot have said. We started so well... what the hell ja going on?!

The first 20 were good but this is starting to settle into a familiar pattern. Sloppy in possession, and passive in defence.

Quality player. We made the wrong choice with Ndombele, lets be honest.

Wasn't a choice between the two. If ITK is to be believed, we had Fernandes on standby on deadline day, which we used to our advantage to sign GLC.

I still believe Tanguy will go on to be a great signing if injuries don't ruin him
