Hallelujah!!! One of my biggest gripes of the pochettino regime! People say KWP was far from good enough for us. That's what happens when you go 3 years without a game...
Just so Poch can keep them by his side and play them only when absolutely out of options, riding on any breakout performance and maintain the misconception of youth development.

Safe to say we're done for the month based on what the ITKers are saying.

I know quite a few SCers are bummed. But for me, it kinda is what it is. January is a bastard of window. So difficult to get anything over the line. The fact that we actually got Bergwjin and Fernandes is impressive. As for a striker... clearly we just couldn't get it done on terms that aren't fiscally irresponsible.

Like everyone here, I sincerely hope there is investment over the summer. And as the ITKers have suggested, Jose seems to be focused on that too. Only worrying aspect is what Herc said about available funds based on our existing economic conditions. That doesn't inspire a ton of hope. But, you never know what may happen in terms of naming rights, sponsorships and interested buyers, eh? Let's save that potential disappointment for the summer!!

For me, I don't see much point in lamentation at this stage. We still have a strong squad, and some really promising young lads. And besides... if Sonny and Moura suddenly learn how to shoot again, then all of this striker stuff will be forgotten quickly.

I know... I sound like I'm in denial and persuading myself that everything will be okay.

That could be true! ;)

I agree. This is more business than we have done most summers with Levy! Let alone in Feb. However the failings aren’t in this window they are in the 2018/2019 season. We’re paying for this now.

Good post mate, my sentiments as well. The financial side is a worry when you factor in the positions we may need to replace, with quality, rb, cb, dm, st, plus if eze is coming

I wouldn’t say all, but most of these rants would be forgotten if we somehow, contrive to qualify for next season’s CL.

Genuinely had it in my head the window closed at 5pm. Just came back in to see there’s still hours left.

I don’t know if I’m good crying or bad crying.

Guaranteed at 10pm we will get a "hold on! We might still be able to do something"
"Hold on! We're hearing Spurs have secured a new revenue stream at the stadium and it's made the cut-off for Sundays game against Man City!"
