Really was a great performance today. NLD and we played our way, the Tottenham way and fully deserved a point, could have even nicked three.

Anyone else notice a group of about 30 arsenal fans all dressed in black behind the goal. Are they trying to be ‘ultras’? Absolute bunch of clowns.
Don't forget that tool in the yellow shell suit they showed on TV. I'd be fucking embarrassed to know a tv audience saw me dressed like that.

Merson you surprise me I didn't think you had it in you to give Spurs any credit, good attempt at a climbdown but you are no more a pundit than any of those muppets on Arsenal Fan TV. If Merson wants to talk football then this is where he belongs. Yes he's played football, but as a pundit he should at least step back a little and offer some genuine independence. That rant before the game was so one sided and biased that it wouldn't look out of place on Arse Mania or Arsenal Fan TV.

Time to withdraw his Sky contract and let him get a few quid for spouting absolute horseshit on Arsenal Fan TV, I'm sure Robbie Lyle would give him a few readies every week for elevating their followers to ridiculous levels of expectations and he'd be paid double bubble overtime in the week leading up to NLD's hamming it up with trash talk.....

I've gotta say, now we have Ange in comparison, Arteta flapping around on the touchline must project so much nervous energy into that team - really doesn't present himself as somebody in control of his team at times

Bit nerve-wracking at times.
But two excellent fighting team comebacks.
Both goals well taken by Captain Son
from Maddison assists.
Both theirs a bit fortunate.
Unbeaten in six, top four
15 goals without Whatsisname.
I could get to like this.
Thanks Ange

The worst part about this is if a Spurs player committed that same challenge, they would have been sent off.

Maybe, maybe not.

What is CERTAIN, however, is that the media and socials would have made a massive issue out of it; Arteta would have been incandescent; Ange would have been grilled about it in every presser and the result called into question by the decision whichever way it went.

Not sure about that, Romero got away with a similar one earlier this season.

I was at the game in a corporate box and what a great game it was. We looked like a really good team and that’s all I ask for; we had bravery on the ball, commitment in defence, and a real bravery about our play. I was there with a bunch of Arsenal fans and none of them were particularly happy. N.B, I’m so happy to say I’ve ticked this away day off my bucket list. COYS

If a handball stops a shot on target, especially with the keeper out of the way I think it has to be given. I agree with the above comment about it being so close to the goal and had it been out wide then I think we could argue against it
As far as I am aware there's nothing in the rules to state this although they change so much I can't be bothered to keep up. The ref and var should follow the rules.

If the straight leg catches Vicario it would have been a red. It's just whether you consider the fact it could have happened should warrant a red card. I'm surprised they didn't spend more time looking at it to be honest. Poor from VAR.

It's also the intent as no chance he was going to get the ball.

Just eager to see the lad get involved that's all. Perhaps in a lesser game he could get some minutes. F.A cup perhaps.
That's fair enough, but throwing a player in before they are ready can really harm their career.

I just watched those calamitous last 2 NLD defeats - full of 1 in a 100 wonder goal and our calamitous defending...especially from Lloris.
Big game for Vicario today. Rival fans do not rate him. Today is the day he can make a name for himself...good or bad.
All I want is a game, where we dont do suicidal defending and give away goals due to errors
Game plan should be to take the game to Arsenal, playing our usual style...But try to keep it tight as much as possible. With Arse playing midweek game, last 20 minutes could be ours if we stay in the game

I said this early today....
Lads did exactly the same. We did give a own goal which could have defended better
Vicario was brilliant. So was everyone.
But all that matters more is, we took the game to Arsenal. And Arsenal couldnt cope with it over the entire 90minutes.

Ange system works. And works very well. We can give anyone a game this season.

It's harder to compare with other games as we've seen an inconsistent level of officiating.

Based solely on the refs performance today and his reticence to book some of the Arsenal players for legitimate fouls and instead, zero in our players as the prime offenders for commiting similar fouls, I truly believe a Spurs player would've been sent off for sliding in the same way Nketiah did.
