If there is an offer just take it, not good enough for the Premier League. Performs in slow meaningless friendly games and goes missing in competitive matches, yet another poor expensive singing. He has way to many excuses from some fans.

Each time I've watched him play for us in a competitive game, come back to the same feeling that the speed and intensity of the game here is too much for him. Doesn't make him a bad player, just one that isn't suited to the football here. Again, don't want to be too harsh as it's his first start of the season but I'm struggling to see anything fundamentally changing.

They were the ones who came to this conclusion because he bossed it in a meaningless preseason friendly against Barcelona, playerd at walking pace, featuring players who were trying to avoid being injured for the start of the season.

I think this needs to be taken into account. That and first minutes of the year. Never good making as many changes as we did and you know it won't help us when we turn out at the weekend with supposedly fresh legs. We always get a hangover from these games.

Christ we are not a charity, how about he earns that chance. He doesn’t deserve anything. He has shown little in competitive time in the Premier League while with us.

I've been saying he isn't good enough for several years now. One good preseason game or two doesn't change the fact that he has been shite for spurs on the whole.

Some of the comments about his game tonight are very harsh. He wasn't great, granted. But the entirety of that team, minus VDV, was crap. In that first half, I thought Perisic, Solomon, Skippy, PEH, Sanchez, Richy, Emerson -- were all as bad, if not worst than Lo Celso. Really was the first time I questioned Ange. As Dane was a further rung down the ladder. I get that many hate this guy. But, in a sea of shit, he was less shit than others in the first half.
