I'd love to have an owner with those credentials, my point is who? We're wishing for an imaginary person to appear, there's been nobody put in a bid, good or bad, and there doesn't appear to be anything that I can see to suggest anyone who could afford the bill would be better at it - it just feels like a lot of people demanding a change but no actual solution or aim other than "someone".

Who?
We don't necessarily need a new owner - we need Levy to step away from being chairman, and simply be a part-owner, who sees his investment grow.

I would be happy for Levy to appoint a DOF - and stay on to oversee the business/property side of the team - but we have seen him try that, and still can't help but get involved. He just needs to go away. I hear he has a nice villa in France. He should enjoy his time there.

People spend a lot of money to attend games, no chance they walk out early. Aside from walking out near the end but that's to beat the queues.

But we're not talking about 20 years ago, we're talking about now. We're talking about the situation the club is in right now and what I see over the last few years is huge investment, astute financial management, bringing in investors and sponsors to fund what we need to fund and when money is asked for by the manager, it appears to be made available, else we wouldn't have shipped as much as we did on N'Dombele, just for one example. Even if we meet the release clause of some top players, they still can say no out of personal choice, it's happened before and will happen again and there's nothing Levy can do to affect that.

I agree that he's not perfect but keep the disagrees rolling in, chaps, without actually telling me who this mystery buyer will be - all good fun.
No. The football bit specifically. The managerial appointments, the structures that sit behind it, the "Spurs DNA" he allegedly believes in. Where is the evidence of competence and continuity?

Protest is hard, and requires sacrifice. It would be a hell of a lot more productive than booing players, or even just booing the team off at halftime.

(But I agree with you)

Have we not made slow and steady progress though?

I fully concede we hit a ceiling and have been looking for a new identity chapter since but I think we'd at least continue to compete eventually, even if it takes us a couple of managers and some astute signings to get there.

Levy deserves criticism but I also think he's a victim of his own success. The reason we now look to the top of the table and not the bottom is due in large to him.

I often wonder how he'd be viewed if we had a bit more luck. We've had one trophy, but 2 legit title challenges, 4 finals and I think 7 semi finals (I looked a few days ago, going by memory).

So since enic took control that's basically one strong chance to win something a year on average.

He has to take some of the blame for not being able to win more but also a lot of it is bad luck. Re roll the dice on those games and we could have at least a couple more trophies.

If a couple of those fa cup semis made it to finals and we won one. And won another LC final. I wonder if that would change anything. Or because having come so close to a title and being champions of Europe we really wouldn't be completely satisfied until we were winning and competing for those regularly.
1st you make your own luck, the times we had title challenges and CL run in particular ENIC went AWOL those January's when an ambitious push with a couple of quality additions (most were crying out for) could well have seen us over the line, we'll never know but we do know by ENIC continuing their self restrictive policie$ we got nothing. Also 2 +4 + 7 (you're being kind with the 7 but I'll allow you it) = 23? (you said 1 a year) What did I miss? Lastly we have not been progressing steadily at all ironically since the Stadium has been built, the great much promised game changer.

I know we don't ask questions to the ITKs and it's not directed at any of them, but, how confident would any of us be if JL daughter came in and they bought DL out that she's going to be any different?

For me I just want to see progress at this point on, not hopping from one manager to another, with no rhyme or reason to the recruitment.

I know people say better the devil you know than the devil you don't, but it Vivienne came in I think and hope we'd see an improvement even in communication with fans and we may identify a plan. Something coherent that we can get behind is all we need as a starting point.

Yeah we do need to do something to create changes. I was thinking a half time protest would be more likely. At least it doesn't impact the players while they're playing and a protest just before the game would be drowned out somewhat by the pre match music. Half time is pretty quiet , may be a bit harsh on whatever legend is out but it is what it is. I think if there's enough going on at half time Sky/BT would have to show it too.

I would be surprised if she wants to be an active owner/chairwoman. If I recall, she runs Isleworth in Florida, and would be surprised if she wanted to uproot and move to London on a more permanent basis. I assume she would hire a DOF to run the football side (maybe that remains Paratici), and she oversees the financials.

Hard to know though - but if she is like her father, she would be content to oversee, while someone else handled the day-to-day details.

Unfortunately, and rather bafflingly, there are still many of our supporters who back Levy. Had to hear the tedious 'Levy isn't playing on the pitch' argument at the game on Sunday.

This feels like finally the majority of fans are turning on Levy, been a long time coming but it’s deserving. Levy has overseen so much failure and has personally taken little accountability. Think the majority have now had enough.

I think there were reports/ITK to suggest she was showing more involvement or interest in the day to day running of the club. If so then we can only assume she is happy to report back to daddy that Levy is doing a grand old job!

Gonna be interesting then to see the numbers protesting, I don't believe its a majority

Semi serious here but if it was possible to generate funds to print some levy out T-shirts or flags to sell around stadium before match. Sell for a few quid get the cash back for expenses and rest going to charity…punters might be a few quid down for merchandise that would be discarded after game or whatever but may drum up some local publicity?
