I hate when people reference another club signing a player like it has any relevance to what we do. Every transfer is different and some deals can be done quick while most are more complicated. It doesn't mean we haven't been working since the last window closed. People talk about signings as if we're the only ones involved while the selling club and player have no input.

First year without a season ticket for 5 years and missed out on the derby tickets as much as i tried, looking like a blessing in disguise at this point.

It's mental how many seem to think you can barely scout players outside of the window itself.

The transfer window is to register new players. Key deals should be in place already, like Gakpo for Liverpool.

After a RWB, and AM this month. We may have to wait for a CB, unless miracles happen with outs.

Conte is a bit happier than he was post Villa. There are a few other bits I've shared bts that I'll drip feed through if they break in the press.

I hope the AM is a creative player not just a forward. So far the names who have been mentioned in the press aren’t really playmakers and we desperately need one. Good to hear things might actually happen tho.

Nah I never got that sense. I think he took the job knowing the reality of the situation, and the way we operate, he is just frustrated that these ridiculous expectations are being put on him when he knows it is a longer term project.
