Not sure why Pickford gets a lot of hate, bar one mistake today he’s actually a really solid keeper. Could he be our replacement after lloris this season? I didn’t realise he’s only 28.
He goes through temporary phases when he makes a lot of individual errors, which of course is what opposition supporters notice.

Not only is he a fine shot stopper, his distribution is world class - reminiscent of Paul Robinson in his ability to hit a selected teammate with a long clearance.

I don’t think he’s got it between the ears. Everything else he is good at but mentally he can be all over the place.
His facial expressions throughout the game are always odd. I think you're right about it between the head.

I’m watching with the volume off on the tv but that exchange between Kane and Pickford when they are both on the ground after the trip, is absolutely hilarious.

No idea what that hobgoblin Redknapp is saying about it, but don’t care…::

Completly dominated them without creating all that much. As others have mentioned, they didn't have a single shot on target in the second half. Think the commentators in my stream said that's something that hasn't happened to them in 6 years.

Our position in the table is quite impressive considering we're not at out best just yet. If Conte gets more time and some more signings that fits his style and philosophy we're hopefully in for some good times, both when it comes to entertainment and trophies.

How can Sky/Kelly say with a straight face that there's an argument that Kane ran into Pickford?!

Laughable

Coz she's got to say something extremely dumb in order to make Jamie look remotely clever.

Yin and Yan, or dumb and dumber if you like.

Really good after going to a three I thought and thought we showed good energy in such a stage of the match after a CL game.

I really do hope the 3 in the middle is considered more as I still feel like Conte will more often than not go with the two. Kulusevski being the 3rd attacker may of course very well compensate though but I don't think Richarlison does.

I don’t think he’s got it between the ears. Everything else he is good at but mentally he can be all over the place.

I find him a bit dramatic and overly-expressive for a keeper. I know that's a weird observation and it doesn't automatically equate to a 'lesser' keeper but I find he's noticed so much in games for good and bad. It's one of the reasons why I don't like Ramsdale either.

Not much not to like about that. Thought we were great. Bentancur was superb as always, Doherty showed what we have been missing since he got injured, Romero was a monster, kane, Son, Perisic and Bissouma all look to be finding form, Spence came on! Hopefully we can kick on from here cos we are in a really good position given the below par performances.

They regularly drug test players right? Better get Townsend in sharpish. He’s saying Everton will be disappointed not to have won the game

Did anyone see Matt’s face after Conte’s appraisal hug! THAT was the face of motivation!
The transformation of Doherty under Conte is nothing short of incredible. He looked like he couldn’t play football before Conte arrived

Pretty much went as I thought it would. Everton this year are very well set up defensively. It was always going to be a bit of a defensive stalemate in the first half. We upped the tempo in the second half and with the three in the middle once we went ahead there was only going to be one winner. A very professional performance. I’d like us to see us start with the 352 at OT on Wednesday. Given the way MUtd set up we will give them problems.
These next 2 fixtures are very important. Win them, or at least not lose at OT and we will be very well set up for the post WC season.

He's not world class but they are few and far between and we aren't throwing 100m at a keeper. I wouldn't have a problem with him coming in.
