- He'll barely add to their absurd stable of players
- will cost them lots of money
- will stop PEA going to Barca and will not be going to Arsenal

???because they need more attacking players????. They have something like 10 players for three attacking spots. Clearly this Dembele kid only in it for the money. As he ain’t gonna be playing much under Tuchel.

Haven't they already got enough forward players whining about not getting enough game time and playing out of position? Hopefully it can only be of further detriment to their squad harmony with throw another one in the mix!

Why do you think we are struggling to bring in depth? Seems like coming out of this window, we are maybe 1 short in midfield. And that's it. We can debate the quality of what we have left all the live long day, but I think we have a deep enough squad for the remainder of the season. I think it's very important that we've cleared the decks of deadwood, and puts us in a great position to move proactively in the summer, when there will be many great deals available.
As for this Dembele. No thank you. We just rid ourselves of two players with a terrible mentality. Dembele sounds very similar. Best to stay away.
I think the focus should be about quality. As has been pointing out already, the chances are, Kulu and Betancor (sp?), will hit the ground running, and suit Conte's style of play. That already puts them streets ahead of Lo Celso, Tanguy, Dele, and Bryan. As they can contribute now. Not later. Or not at all. The aforementioned four, were not contributing, nor would they for the rest of the season. So, that means, made space for two players that will come in immediately and have an impact. Versus, four players sitting on the bench, who can't be relied upon to have any impact. I see that as a big plus. I also see the flushing out of the three turds as progress too.
Of course, I hear what you're saying and agree that we do seem to struggle sometimes to move as swiftly as a Chelsea. But they have unlimited financial resources, and are happy to hoard players to keep them away from the opposition. Fuck 'em.
