Personally, I'd take a gamble on Howe. Ten Hag, Gallardo, Rodgers are linked with jobs bigger than us. Potter has already made it clear he isn't interested. Levy isn't prepared to fund the level of transfer activity that Conte wants. We're an upper mid-table team playing in the third tier of European football with a chairman known for interfering in first-team affairs. A top name would be mad to join us. I think we're gonna be left with a choice of taking a risk and hoping to find a diamond in the rough or getting in an interim and hoping to pick the scraps once Barca, PSG, Utd, Newcastle, etc. have made their picks.
They cant all get the few big jobs that are out there.

Potter should step up and take the Spurs job imo. Hes where Howe was 5 years ago. Howe turned down bigger jobs thinking his run would never end, but it did.

although he needs to go, it's obvious that a new manager is only part of the issue.

we are in a whole world of trouble, assuming the aim isn't to be just mid-table.

not sure any half decent manager would want this job under these conditions.

This is the right time to sack, when mourinho was sacked it was totally wrong and that mistake makes it so much harder to sack Nuno now... Levy time

Valverde is the only man not in a job right now and would not cost us i mean not cost Levy anything technically the cheapest option potentially ...

ETH wont come because we screwed him about in the summer, and screwed about wit him more than once, he is probably having the last laugh now

Gallardo i would like him but nothing till Dec and also he would need time to get acclimatised aswell.

Honestly I’m not sure how much it will matter until the players are overhauled if DL want any willing to make a substantial change in policy and just turnaround players I don’t see anything different with another manager I feel like we need new owners not just a new manager.

He'll get sacked in the international break I reckon. Everton will beat us and that will be the right time.

The next one in? I wanted Potter but it won't happen now, not with us like this and him with a team playing like that.

I'm thinking Paratici will look to Italy and buying out a Serie A coach. We know that money is still tight for a lot of them and they might be easier to target.

How about Paratici focus on player recruitment and HItchen focuses on manager recruitment. If ITK is to be believed, ETH and Potter were Hitchen's choices.

Problem is bigger than the manager but some proper coaching would do wonders.

Would be delighted with any of Gallardo, Poch, Potter, ten Hag.

Given how things are going I think the best bet would be for an interim to take charge over the next month or two before Gallardo takes the job as soon as his contract expires.

If they would come here any of: Conte, Potter, Lopetgui, ETH. 3 of those only in Summer and 2 of those already rejected us.

Realistic options are riskier but I would love Gallardo here. Even bigger risk would be Schevchenko, most impressive international coach in a long time IMO. Gerrard has good philosophy and has great authority plus Klopp isn't leaving any time soon. I guess Rodgers could get sacked this season if things go wrong, giant douche and a bottler but he had some fans in the club before. Thomas Frank another interesting coach but whole club has good set-up and I'm not sure yet how good he is. Scott Parker could be decent too.

Sack him now whilst we can still save our season and contest a top 4 finish (yes I know the squad is pants but points wise we’re still within touching distance). Look at Chelsea, spiralling under Lampard, ditched him for Tuchel and they’ve gone from strength to strength ever since. Alternatively we let Nuno plod along till the New Year by which time we’ll be in a relegation fight and no sane manager will touch us with a barge pole.
