Shag me sideways! There are a lot of people in here making wild, toxic assumptions about a situation they know nothing about. have You ever been painted as the villain in a situation where you are not because you refuse to rise to it and shout as loud as those damning you? Just saying, let’s calm down and see what happens before turning on somebody who actually stuck with us longer than most would nowadays

Yeah, just last week exact same thing. Luckily, Steve from accounts piped up straight away though and said I’d never left my desk all day so couldn’t have clogged the loo. If only Harry had a mate like Steve…

Its time to forgive and forget and move on. If there was one player that would be allowed to strike, it would be Harry Kane after all he has done for the club. He could have kicked up a fuss years ago. The guy wanted Spurs to win as much as any other Spurs fan.
No player is allowed to strike regardless of what they've done for the club. WALOB

If he scores a hatty in the opening game vs City and goes and windmills in front of Pep then Jack Clarke MIGHT think about giving him his slippers back.

Instead of a fine, I think they should make Harry give a presentation on the theme of integrity in front of all the management and players.

Not that you can read that much into it but I’m a big fan of the Spurs official account not even acknowledging it

There were rumours posted on here that he’s been telling England team mates he was going to boycott traininif he didn’t get his move as well.

Don’t know if that’s true but very poor if it is.

Personally I’d still keep him as he’s one of the best centre forwards around and I’d like to see how he does under a half-decent coach (not a dinosaur) surrounded by hopefully some new signings to freshen things up.

I think it would be good for football for player power not to win for once and actually show players can’t just do what they want to get their own way.

But I would really really like it if we bought some top quality competition for him so we’re not so reliant on him and have a plan B up top (disappointed as really though Vinny could provide that but even though was Mourinho’s supposed top choice was a bit of a waste of time).

I think they think it's clever wording.

By all accounts he was due back on monday for blood tests etc, and then 5 days isolation before training with the group.....tomorrow.

He is speaking in half truths.

There's always a chance the club have suggested he take an extra week because they know he wants out and they know how high profile he is. Give Nuno and the lads a chance to start training without that particular circus in town, and avoids endless questions about why he isn't playing in the friendlies. Would seem a fairly shrewd move.

Of course that's just one possibility. Maybe something happened with a family member. Maybe he's just a **** who is sulking like a baby. Maybe he thought it was a great power play and is now desperately trying to save face.

Like A&C says this could be a genuine thing so why jump on the hate train when nobody really knows the full story?

Occam's Razor, in this instance.

We all knew it was coming, and there's just far too many fumes coming off it to be just an innocent misunderstanding.

That, and Kane who chose to give Mind a sponsor slot for Orient for the last few years deciding not to come back and show his face for the Mind friendlies... I'm normally willing to give anyone at spurs the benefit of doubt, but this is a real stretch. It's like walking in on someone wearing a mask, covered in blood, holding a knife, standing over a corpse, with a clean up kit in their backpack, and them saying "it's not what it looks like!"

You have to remember, when it comes to forums like blue moon. A lot of those members will be very young. They will have only been watching football for 10-20 years tops. Likely starting off supporting City when they first started winning things. City only have two types of fans, young ones who just wanted to follow the team that won the most and bought all the players. Then the longer term fans who remember where they were before all the oil money arrived.

They’re the definition of a plastic club. No history, no memories before Agueros goal, and all of their main players and manager are basically just mercenaries who would have never have dreamt of playing for them until someone waved a few hundred thousand pounds a week under their noses. There’s no one in the past who would have “one day dreamed to play for City”. Only people born more recently may ‘dream’ of it, because they become aware that if they get a three year contract then at some point they will write their name on most of the winners medals because these awards just default to the club who purchased them.

Occasionally we get lucky, and sometimes football wins. Wigan beating them for the FA Cup, Leicester winning the premier league. However at some point it will always revert back to them because they just put money in until they win. To be honest I’m not entirely sure how you even feel right celebrating winning when you play for, or support them. It’s like entering a soapbox derby with the Ferrari your rich uncle bought you.

Empty soulless stadium, with empty soulless coridoors to house plastic, flakey, fake fans who celebrate their mercenary players who actually have no true feeling for the club or area, and a classless, arrogant manager who has never won anything that wasn’t bought for him.

Unfortunately though, This is football now.

Shit club, shit fans, no history. As plastic as it gets. No where without money.

What a great post, and you're absolutely right, but sadly, if you're a Man City fan of whatever age, you don't give a shit. Everybody else thinks the same of you but you don't give a shit what anyone thinks about you celebrating one trophy or another or how you managed to do it.

He’s pissing on us all and trying to convince us it’s raining.

If what he said is true, surely Spurs would have released a statement (if he wasnt able to) explaining the situation to shut down all the rumours of him wanting to go to City?

Even if they knew he were leaving it would have calmed the hysteria and keeping fans on-side to help our negotiations that we will keep him if we don't get the right price.

I definitely see the club's silence a key give away (even though we didn't need it) that he's shafted us and paving the way to come grovelling back if he doesn't have a better option.

Not sure how I'll be treating Kane going forwards but I'll almost be glad if he's gone to hate him and show it in the stands without him being in a Spurs shirt.

If that's true, what a ****.

Can't wait to boo him even if he's winning. All very hollow when you're known as a ****.

His made a mistake, we all have been dicks at times! If he wears the shirt he has my support! If he leaves I will still respect him!
am I annoyed by his actions yes, do think his being a &&&& yes! But let’s not stoop so low to boo him in our shirt!

I won't just give a disagree to your post but give you my reasons why I do. Harry is claiming he has not behaved improperly in any way and implied the club were totally aware of his whereabouts and gave their consent. If that is the case then surely Levy and the supporters have nothing to forgive. This whole scenario is definitely something that cannot just simply be swept under the carpet, forgotten and pretend never happened. Yes we will move on but we will also remember and no amount of crawling from Harry will remove the memory.

He will use us to his own advantage, claim his World Cup spot next year and the club will benefit from his goals but after that as far as I'm concerned he's for sale to the highest bidder.

He will get booed, and deserves it. He hasn’t been a bit of a dick, he has tried to force a cut price move out the club, which would have cost us money and a potentially a replacement and put him n direct competition. Fuck him, gets what he deserves
