In so far that it happened during the race, yes... Otherwise no.Karun just did another breakdown with some more clips (previous incidents) and its definately a racing incident IMO.
Were you one of the people who voted Max driver of the day ?In so far that it happened during the race, yes... Otherwise no.
No one takes that corner that way during the race normally. Would normally come in from the left, onto the apex of the corner and then back over to the left after that.First start to an F1 race I've watched in years and this happens
From a non-avid F1 watcher point of view, I thought Lewis took the corner a bit wider than necessary.
Racing incident for sure, given it was the first lap and everyone is scrambling around for positional gains. Could both drivers have done more to avoid the accident? 100%.
As expected the Lewis haters are out in full force. They'll do anything to tear him down.
Verstappen is probably the most consistently aggressive driver I have seen in F1 and has been lucky to not have been involved in more crashes like this more often. Gets away with similar moves all the time because other drivers know he will not back out and they concede to him.
Like Lewis said, there is not a driver on the circuit that does not know how aggressive Verstappen is and I think Hamilton is right to call it out. Live by the sword die by the sword.
As for Christian Horner, he can get fucked. The man is a scumbag. He is fantastic as a team principal though.
Lewis had the inside and Max came across him. In other incidents both drivers have ended each other races, this time Lewis got lucky and Max ended up in the wall. Whatever, it was racing with both egos ramped up to 11.Surely the driver behind tends to be to blame. Max was ahead and Hamilton knew if he didn't so something drastic now max will win again

Running up and down the paddock like an eejit trying to get Lewis banned is petty and says all you need to know about how desperate Red Bull Racing are. I hope Lewis goes on the make Verstappen eat his words. Full on team LH now having just wanted to previously see good racing.
Max is overly aggressive every race, expects everyone to give way, so have little sympathy for him crying foul when it doesn’t always go his way, wick3d agree with a lot of that…
If you actually listen to the radio he asks if Max is ok, and gets told he is out of the car.He put a guy in hospital and only asked how he was when he was promted to do so
Leclerc -“It is difficult from the outside,” said Alonso. “It looked quite close, Lewis had more than half a car alongside Max.
“So, in a way, Lewis could not disappear from the inside line, it’s not that you can vanish.
“It was an unfortunate moment of the race, but nothing intentional or nothing that any of the two drivers did wrong in my opinion.
“That was an unlucky moment.”
“It is very difficult to judge it from the car, we are very low, so it’s difficult to see everything and it went very quickly,” he said. “I could see there was quite a bit going on in front of me.
“I think it’s a racing incident. It is quite difficult to put the blame on one or the other.
“Obviously, there was the space on the inside. Maybe Lewis was not completely at the apex, but it’s also true that Max was quite aggressive on the outside.
“Things happen but I think what is most important today is that Max is unharmed and is fine.”
It’s pretty telling when all the racers and team principals say it’s a racing incident.Alonso
