On the evidence so far Nile John will be at least on the bench with quite a few cameos, I hope!

I know he gets a lot of stick but I wonder if Dier could be Nuno's Coady?

Coady started as a DM and moved to CB, they've similar physically too, interesting to see Dier captain today.

Also we can't sell all of our CB's so Dier is pretty likely to still be here come start of the season I'd imagine we will have a new 1st choice CB signing and then the next position will be a battle between mabye Dier, Roden and whoever out of Toby and Sanchez stays.

curlacious

Don’t look at me. I’m irrelevant.

I think Nuno's Coady could be Nuno's Coady

I (still) sort of think there is a chance that Lucas could go this Summer just due to his contract, age, and his value probably never being higher. I figured the higher powers would not want another Lamela, Sissoko, Aurier situation.

But even though his end product is meh, the way he drops deep to pick up the ball at times and glides by 2-3 is unlike anyone else in this side right now bar maybe N'dombele.

Scarlett getting bullied by these men. Looks a talent but understandably lightweight still at his age.
These types of games will be a good experience for him and he does look a real threat

There were a few mentions of him having a really hard time last year, I believe his dad passed away and it made it seem like he was away from the team for a little. Hopefully he comes back this season and has a good one.

I was thinking the opposite and that he's the type of player Nuno might might similar to the role he gave Traore or Jota at Wolves, using their explosive pace. Bergwijn is another one I'm sure we could be getting more out of if we play to his strengths and give him confidence.
