I'm interested in the back story behind his tagline thingy

I'm sure I've read on TFC that there's someone on there that is a bit of a WUM that is apparently on RedCafe too, so wonder if that's the same person. Not sure how easy life must be if you have time to post thousands of things over multiple forums though (one yes, many... hmm).
Glaston is on a few sites - I recall him being particularly unpopular on Villatalk about 10 years ago after he mentioned that Spurs and Villa are heading in opposite directions (villa still thought they were the bigger team at the time).

Redcafe is actually quite an interesting forum to visit - when you only post on Spurs messageboards it becomes hard to hear alternate (less rose tinted) opinions, and RC is quite a safe place to have those conversations. Having said that, I don't post there myself, but I enjoy reading a lot of their conversations.

I think Glaston gets baited a lot over on Redcafe, and a lot of what he has said has come to fruition (albeit a lot slower than he anticipated). I saw on their match thread when they went a goal up that they were asking "where's Glaston?" as if he'd spend the match time in their match thread.........then they complain when he turns up a couple of hours after the match! :D

His biggest problem is that he can sound very matter of fact and condesending, which obviously goes down a treat on opposition messageboards.......but the reason he lasts so long on them is that he never says anything abusive, but instead profers a differing perspective that maybe riles the locals.

Behind enemy lines, eh? You seem very supportive of this Glaston... ?

Plus, they are no longer the great Man U, who only have to wink at a player for that player to come running

I know. A few exceptions aside, players usually try to run from them the days

Glaston is as deluded and self entitled as any fan we criticise on any other forum. He's not a WUM, he's a bellend who used to be on COYS if my memory serves.

Yup I seem to remember the name from COYS too.

I only go on to copy and paste comments here. I don't even post on here too much as I'm pretty busy at work, but to be honest, most of the Spurs fans on there are pretty level headed, and end up having some interesting conversations.

That GlastonSpur is a proper WUM though and gives the rest of the opposition fans on there a bad name. He's pretty hated on there and for good reason.
It used to wind me up a little bit that he was essentially single handedly making people hate Spurs supporters.

Now I oddly admire it. His ability to wind them up and have them talk about him all over the place because he’s literally in their head rent free is absolutely marvellous. Even if he talks absolute bollocks half the time.

In the earlier years Glaston's inputs on RedCafe were fun to see because of the responses he trolled out of the Utd supporters. And it was a lot more valid due to the gap between our stature and Utd's at the time. But as time went he became more of a bellend and now he is exactly as you describe him.

I've had a look around and can find nothing that other fans have recently said about us, tbh.

International Break, innit.

We should just make some stuff up.

"Did you hear, over on the Cannons R Us forum, some Arse fan has been saying that Arteta is going to play Goonersaurus against us in December".

Just for shits for giggles.

I really need some sleep!
