I wouldn’t even bother engaging him again in conversation. Sounds an Utter imbecile

I don't know him from Adam, this was in a checkout queue at the supermarket. I was proudly sporting my Spurs Mask. He was dressed a bit like Ty from AFTV.

I am really surprise by Spurs this window that Levy and Mou work so well together. Levy basically addressed all the request of Mou for the team reinforcement. striker, LB, RB, CM, RW, and may be Rodon for CB too. I read the net spend is around £50M which truly impressive given Spurs still need to pay for the stadium. Seems like Levy is fully buying into Mou's project and give him all the tools to succeed. Good time for Spurs and you can tell Mou is a happy man.

I would of just farted on him
Conversation with Gooner yesterday

Him: "Kane's been shit this season"

Me : "I don't call 8 goals in 8 games, plus 7 assists shit"

Him: "But he hasn't done it for England"

:confused::confused: :banghead::banghead::banghead:
I would of just farted as loud as I can in his general direction and let him taste my shit!

My conversation with him would have ended after the first line.

wouldn't have even gone that far. conversations with gooners usually involve throwing fruit at them and making strange sounds whilst they pick fleas off eachother.

Amazing non conversation with a goonie yesterday he was telling me how they will challenge the title this year I chortled a little
He then went on to tell me how clever their transfer dealings were at this point I was miffed so bit and asked how so and what was clever ?
His response was partey would have cost at least double but they took advantage of covid ?
My response was to open my mouth like a goldfish to respond then just shook my head and walked away without saying another word to him flabbergasted
What a bellend :cautious:

Tbf, majority of them are such minor fouls that just involve something like a shirt tug or a clumsy trip when looking to get the ball high up the pitch. He isn't a dirty player whatsoever IMO.

Sorry mate but they guy is a grade a shithouser up there with the likes of Diego Costa and Luis Suarez.

The laws of the game state "a player who, when not challenging for the ball, deliberately strikes an opponent or any other person on the head or face with the hand or arm, is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used was negligible," so Lamela rolling around like his jaw was dislocated perhaps sold that Martial's slap was not "negligible."

I wonder what Everton fans think of Richarlison's antics?
Can't winner this enough! I go to Everton away every season and he is so fucking frustrating, the guy throws himself all over the pitch for 90 minutes, he's an utter clown.

Some Everton chat re VAR and Lamela:

The technology is fantastic. I always wanted it and I want it to stay.
The problem is the utter incompetence of those making the calls.
Lamela v Martial. There’s only one player I’d send off there & that's Lamela for the pathetic play acting.
How do these idiots make so many bad calls week in, week out? They get to view it as many times as they like, yet still make inexplicable decisions.
Get a panel of ex pros on VAR duty now!

If you actually plan to follow the laws of the game you can't send Lamela off. Best is maybe a yellow, but even that is murky.

It’s not that long ago since bans were being handed out for simulation. What happened to that?? Lamela should be getting a 6 match ban for that at least.
And how did Pogba stay on? How did Shaw stay on??
The technology is not the problem.
You see, the quote at the end I agree with - it's really not the technology that's the primary problem. Yes, it could definitely do with improvement, but that is doable when there's a will.

It's the cack-handed, utterly unaccountable morons in charge of the technology that is the biggest problem with VAR. I've said this so often that I'm boring myself with it!

I like to use a cooking analogy: if I'm looking to, say, fillet a piece of fish and I hack away at it and end up with fish mince at the end of it, it's not the knife's fault. The knife is a tool. It's my cack-handed attempts at using the knife that ended up with the shit result. (Ironically, I don't even like fish).

But put that same knife in the hands of an expert chef and they will use it properly, skilfully and would end up with a good outcome.

It is high time that referees were dragged into the open and made to account for their decisions. Every other professional in the game is subjected to questioning, be it serious or otherwise; what makes refs so different?
