Is that where you rim someone whilst giving them a reach-around with tears in your eyes? This definitely needs to be accompanied by a sad trombone

Well, according to the experts, the proper ones, not the dangerous SC ones in the Corona thread, they are hopeful that we'll have a vaccine in 2021. If so, then you can write off this season pretty much as far as fans attending and all the other stuff goes, whatever it is they need to do, they need to do it now rather than acting reactively when, as is usual with the football authorities, it's too late.
Ah. I should have quoted @yankspurs (shudder)Is this definitely for this thread? If so, is it one of the high-brow type posts that is related in a way I've missed?
I mean, it could but it wasn't necessarily what I had in mind in this scenario! Is that where you rim someone whilst giving them a reach-around with tears in your eyes?
Dad?Is that where you rim someone whilst giving them a reach-around with tears in your eyes?
Are you talking from a Government or Football Club perspective? Obviously, if told to shut down then clubs have no option, but until they reach that point, they will continue to run. I don't see Government reaching a point where they tell clubs to shutdown, with no football being played. Just to add, I'd rather not take this thread off-topic, can continue via DM if you like?
Yes, my boy..?Dad?
Just watched The Transfer Talk team on Sky Sports News comparing stats with Toby and Sanchez, such a tough tough watch. Absolutely no idea what they're going on about, I felt embarrassed for them.
Talking about successful tackles (slightly more than Toby and less than Sanchez) before moving on and saying and look at blocks as if it was a good thing to soon realise that his blocks were considerably lower than the other two at which point he swiftly moved on.
The players you quoted were at the beginning of his time at Spurs, when he was the head coach and not the manager. His influence grew over time where he had much more sway over how things were run and who we signed. Was that really the case over the entirety of Poch's tenure here though Trix? I mean, did he really insist "it was Stambouli or no one"? Or "Fazio or no one?" Or "N'gie or no one"? It seems to me Pochetinno accepted plenty of cheap compromises during his 5 years as manager so to suggest he was only ever inflexible in the transfer market is demonstrably questionable and renders him a convenient fall guy for previous transfer failings. Whatever the reasons though mate, it's brilliant to see a more proactive and targeted approach to buying footballers. I really hope it continues in the future. This window is shaping up to be one of the best - if not the best - we've ever had under ENIC.Skriniar and a striker, in addition to what we've already bought, would be an unbelievable window!
JJ said on Twitter the other week that Stambouli was a Baldin purchase, but he actually bought the wrong player as his English wasn’t great, he could remember who Baldin was actually trying to buy though.
Stambouli plays centre back for Schalke these days. CENTRE-BACK!!
He didn't seem to think so mate! It was only last summer (2019) that he stated publicly that his title should be changed back to Head Coach. “I am not in charge and I know nothing about the situation of my players,” Pochettino said. “Sell, buy players; sign contract, not sign contract – it is not in my hands. It is in the club’s hands and Daniel Levy’s hands". I mean, it's a moot point now mate, Poch has gone. Jose is our new manager, and he's clearly having a very positive influence on our transfer business. Long may that continue eh mate! The players you quoted were at the beginning of his time at Spurs, when he was the head coach and not the manager. I’d never call tromboning sad- brave, experimental, immoral, gymnastic even, but never sadThis definitely needs to be accompanied by a sad trombone
"..white smoke could arrive"... That's a new one. Sounds a level below imminent, though.
