Until it's all signed off it's not done and things can always change in a very short time.

That said I'm quietly confident it will go through.
Hold me trix, I'm confused and lost. Levy has been abducted and replaced by a clone.

People worrying he might be too old now and unfit need to remember we are Spurs. We can go through transfer windows without signing anyone! Some are acting like it’s our money! When you were a kid you didn’t think about how much money we were spending we just loved the team! Our forward line could be Bale - Kane - Son in a week! That is a game changer!

Fuck me, finally looks like it could be the year the prodigal son returns home!

Trying to explain the joy at his potential return to my 11 Yr old and said that the joy is on par with her birth, in my head I was thinking its probably a bit more!

I was just thinking this.... Unless we’re making one a perm the maths is wrong somewhere!

- Premier League clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time.
- The maximum number of loans registrable in the same season is four, and, under no circumstances, shall more than one be from the same club at any one time.
- Premier League clubs cannot loan to another Premier League club a player they have acquired in the same transfer window.
- A Premier League club may loan not more than one of its goalkeepers to another Premier League club.

With the exception of Welsh clubs competing in the competitions listed under Rule V.6.2, loans from a club in membership of another National Association do not count towards the above quotas.

I want the full circle of life update;

@JJetset was the first (Only) one adamant that Bale was off 7 years ago. Come on and be the one to announce it when it’s all done.

Getting rid of Bale for Dele could backfire spectacularly. Bale has real issues with fitness, has not had a preseason, and is 31 and quite possibly past his best. Dele is still only 24 and even though is inconsistent (So is Bale for Madrid mind you) is capable of becoming a very good player indeed and even when off form his numbers are still very solid.

I just have a feeling of dread, even if we get Bale this could go spectacularly wrong. I'd rather take a calculated risk with money and a short term contract, ideally with option to be permanent or a two year loan, rather than risk creating even less balance and unevenness to the team. A swap loan, imagining Dele is able to thrive for Real Madrid, which is more possible that some people seem to think, I mean we wont get that player back. I just feel it sounds like short term emotional thinking here, and this could go so so wrong.

If Dele reached his potential, then I still don't think he's going to be as good as Bale who could tear teams apart by himself and score goals from anywhere and has proved it with some ridiculous hits in a CL final. Yes he may not be quite the same Bale, but it's also a huge if as to whether Dele will ever improve again to get up there. Definitely the right move in the circumstances.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Just been on red cafe they are not bitter at all,here’s a snippet from there.

“know I said earlier that I’d be happy for United to get him on loan for a year but it just suddenly dawned on me that he’s washed up shite. Glad he’s going to Spurs.”?
That's typical football fan. We're probably no better. What I don't understand is why some of our fans seem to spend more of their time on their forum than one of ours.

I'd put the day we signed VDV out of the blue as a pretty mental day.

Or the day @MrsKeane got a phonecall from Robbie while he was wanking into a public toilet... The more I think about it, most of the "maddest" things that happened on here, she tended to be involved, bless her :D
What a day that was fella ??

mind you Dibby being found in America after leaving Ireland to become a porn star was still my favourite SC moment in like 15 or however many years it’s been!

@SargeantMeatCurtains. . became a legend that day

Cant we only have 2 on loan? Gedson is already taking a spot
"a new midfielder has entered the frame" would be an alternative to Bale, rather than as well as - then we'd still only have two players on loan.

There is always more than our no.1 target "in the frame".
