Also:

Forgot about the Napoli boy we are in there too

And:

By the way re bale I’d say under 10% chance , highly highly unlikely

Dragon:

Carlos Vinicius is definitely An option And we have an interest , due to Mendez involvement there is a high chance he ends up at us or wolves
if it’s wolves then more chance it releases Jimenez to us
whilst we are talking to 4 or 5 strikers now and Trying to get one in at no point has deeney or the Zambian boy been mentioned

my personal feeling is it will be the 22 year old I’ve mentioned many times or Vinicius , or if Vinicius goes wolves then will get Jimenez , I’d say josh king is 4th in line now
I've lost track - who is the 22 year-old?

Hmm the GB under 10% doesn’t seem to match what we’ve heard more recently, considering DL and Bale himself want it to happen....

Bale. Quite simple really(although not simple at all). Good news is that the deal is there to be done, and all 3 parties are happy for it to happen.

The problem is it's still an unprecedented amount of money for DL. As I've said recently Levy likes to balance the books in as many ways as he can, and with this it just isn't possible. This is a huge gamble financially in a time where money is at its most uncertain. On the plus side it's been Levy all the way driving this, and he must have known from the outset that is the case, and he's persued it anyway. That gives me hope he will pull the trigger.

It's now a case imo of heart or head, for DL. Can he justify the obscene expenditure in uncertain times, I mean he's not pushed the boat out when we've had spare cash, so will he do it now when we don't.

I think right now this could go either way and if we decide to do it, it will happen quickly.

I will say it's a deal just for us. Should we not do it, other clubs will not get the same terms(as things stand) so not as easy to get gazumped at this point in time.

JJ spot on all down to Levy, but knowing a lot of the financials I could totally understand if we don't get this over the line.

A deal just for us? This makes me wonder about Real’s agenda :cautious:

Even so, super exciting update! Thank you ?

No agenda as yet. Although with the amount of money all 3 parties are potentially losing, I would not be surprised if a hurdle or two comes into play at the last minute. But as things stand it's a clear, but very expensive runway.

Well if Levy is still pursuing this deal he must be prepared to get close to what it would take, as if it was deemed too obscene he surely would of ruled it out very quickly.

So if we're within the realms of a financial agreement that should be viewed as very positive. Otherwise why waste the time and energy trying to be creative, shopping at a shop you can't afford to be in.

It would be a huge statement and I'm pretty certain with Mourinho in charge Levy will feel more confident in pulling off a deal like this.
