Just seen the first Amazon - All or Nothing. When Joao Sacramento talks to Jose he says Sissoko has great influence in the dressing room. Jose says fuck. Always remember the team singing the Moussa Sissoko song to him so obviously he is well liked by the players. Obviously it was a surprise to both of them but was that a good or a bad fuck?

I think it was a realisation that the squad was in trouble. A player like him who Mourinho didn't obviously rate, would have to be used as he is one of the only leaders at the club despite his deficiencies. Hopefully with stronger players being brought in he won't have to play or better still can be sold.

Perhaps the reason why he was played in so many games because Mourinho knows he would not sit well with the support from the squad if he had binned Sissoko right off the bat who had such strong influence amongst the lads.

He really needs to be sold and the money re-invested in another engine room / versatile midfielder.

He just isn’t good enough for a team aiming for top four and cups (depressingly i wont add fighting for title as we seem to have well slipped off that).

Think it was a surprised fuck, I was as surprised as Jose, how does a player with the footballing ability of Sissoko have great influence in a footballing dressing room?

Sissoko leads by example. He is the consummate professional. So I get it that players look up to him and respect him.

He doesn't actually say "fuck". He says something in Portuguese that basically means that you are surprised. I guess the show runners translated it to "fuck" for comedic effect.

It was a realization fuck by Mourinho. He realized just how bad of shape we are in. His main target for this summer was the youngest captain in the Prem. Can probably trace that one all the way back to that report from Joao.

Sissolo is a plank. In 53 years of watching football he is the only player I have even seen who from inside the 6 yard box, shoots at goal and it goes off for a throw-in. Incredible. My 90 year old mother has more ball skills. As mentioned above, he is scared of the ball and when he does make on of his 30 yard runs he's clueless at what to do next, often passing backwards 30 yards. Surely us fans deserve better than that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sissoko has an influence as he is just a nice likable guy rather than him being a leader in the team.

The only reason I'd sell him is because he's 31 and it's our last chance to get any half decent money for him. I've never rated him and didn't want us to sign him, but I have to say, I do think he's actually a very useful squad member, as there are a few of roles he can do a job in. I guess it's a sign of how far we've declined, that I'm reluctant to let him go, as in the days of prime Dembele and Wanyama, I couldn't have cared less had we sold Sissoko.

I didn't watch, but the line up I saw was a 442 with him RM.
This is what I saw on Livescore.

I didn't watch either but possibly played wing back in a 3-5-2. Honestly though these internationals were basically friendlies.
