We shouldn't need him for europa, the group stage is extremely low quality.

We shouldn't... But this is spurs

Kane may want to play to get a couple of goals to help get to our next target for him.

My mind is blown.

It's the second most prestigious competition we're in this season and one that we are among the favourites to win. Winning it would take 5 more games than winning the CL and we're likely to rotate heavily in the League Cup.

Kane can manage 5 games during the first 3 weeks of the season FFS!

Notice him tell jose he wants to be on the level of messi and Ronaldo brand wise?

Unless we seriously have a brilliant season I cant see him staying for much longer.

It's irrelevant how prestigious it is if the opponents we face during qualifying and the groups are terrible and thus an opportunity to avoid some of our key players taking trips all across europe for those particular matches. If it lines up that it's easier for him to play prem then europa then prem again rather than the league cup fixture then by all means play him but why you'd want to for example play Everton on the Sunday, fuck off to bulgaria just to face a team our reserves could beat and travel back late for an away trip to Southampton on the Sunday is more mind blowing.

And If we get a decent lead in the first leg he can sit out the return leg.

Some disgusting (mostly Wham/Goon/Racist Chelsea fans) ridiculing this man. Meyler has hit the nail on the head.

Not only that, how many of those taking the piss if they had any kind of impediment would have the bollocks to stand up and speak in front of a group or speak down a camera? Not fucking many of them I'll bet.

It's the green eyed monster in them racing to the surface, how many of them if they bumped into him whilst he's out shopping for emergency nappies late one night would dare utter those things to his face?

The keyboard/phone is one hell of a shield to hide behind eh...

I can't spend more than a minute on Twitter before angrily starting to write a reply, catching myself and just shutting the tab. It's infantile, keyboard warrior scum all the way down. The first stick they choose to beat him with is his speech impediment, it's beyond disgusting.

I do find it funny when people slate someone who is pretty much winning at life... 250k a week, world Cup golden boot winner, great family and kids, and one of the top two or three strikers in the world...

You cannot expect anything more from them, to be fair. They were born with a screw loose and never got checked. Feel bad for them actually. Terrible way to go through life.

Just delete your account and avoid Twitter altogether. It's an absolute shitpit.

If the only thing they can negatively speak about is his speech impediment then he's doing pretty well to be honest. Just shows how good he is on and off the pitch, because they can't think of anything else to latch onto. Football twitter is god awful though. It's all abuse justified as criticism and banter. Hate it. Our fans are not excusable either, but that's for another thread.
