Gets to semi final of world cup at first attempt.
Fans verdict, brain dead fktard lol.
I'm not an England fan and the genius that is Roberto Di Matteo won his first two tournaments, what's he doing these days?

Calling up a player who has had no preseason training, has chronic ankle issues and has not had a real break in several seasons is an example that he is, as you put it, a brain dead fucktard.

He has had a real break.

But in any case all your proving is you value Tottenham over England. It's a competition, Southgate is going to pick who he thinks are his best players. Of course he is going to pick Kane, however annoying it is.

He's played 10 games in 8 months - he needs time on the pitch, as we saw from his improved performances towards the end of the season.

Its not the FA's fault its UEFA for insisting this new tinpot tournament is squeezed in. anything outside of official world cup and euro qualifying should have been binned to allow club football to catch up.

The smaller nations rely on the money from this competition.

Yep. It is crazy it wasn't just sacked off for one year. I know the lesser nations rely on the money but the bigger ones surely don't with no fans in the stadiums.

So just let the smaller nations go bankrupt because the bigger teams are ok?

The competition has only been played once in history. How are they going to go bankrupt if a competition they've only played once is delayed by 12 months? There's still World Cup qualifiers this season.

Did it not replace friendly games? So even though it's been done for one season, before then they had income from them also.

I agree that it should have been scrapped this year due to fixture pile ups.

It's replaced friendly games which were also an important source of revenue.

Whether you believe the rumors he asked for the club to consider offers for him to leave at one point this season or not it was pretty clear he was getting fed up with the level of the players around him. That scene where he interrupts Jose's team talk made that come across.

Sad news today as Bulgaria goes bankrupt and has to sell itself to Russia because they couldn't play a game of football.

So schedule a handful of friendly games at the end of the season for those smaller nations that are affected. Or better yet, create a small pre-Euro 2021 tournament to run as a warm up to the main event.

That's next May/June. A lot of these teams haven't played since October last year. That's a hell of a long time to go without their main source of income.
Bit this is the Kane thread so I'll stop there.

Do we want to win it or not?!
I couldnt give a flying fuck about the Europa League, especially in the group stages. It is a nothing competition that only becomes semi relevant for the final. It's a distraction and nothing else. Rather not be in Europe than be in Europa, to be honest. At least then we could rest our players for the league which should help improve our league position as it has done in the recent past with other clubs. But I understand a club like us needs to be in Europe as that is the only way we can spend since our owner has no desire to invest.
