Wonder if we use the NFL changing room for the away teams during our remaining fixtures? help keeps the teams apart Off the pitch etc. As just was reading an article on the athletic about what it’s going to be like for teams when they arrive at the grounds and how the tunnel /changing room areas are going to be very different places from the normal

So from that photo I see; Lloris, Davies, Dier, ??? (someone running next to Dier), Aurier (assuming), Skipp, Winks, N'Dombele, Begwijn, Kane, Lamela.

I think that's N'Dombele in the centre as it looks like the first number on the shirt is a 2

Edit: Seems like Sanchez started which means the guy far right is Aurier hugging the touch line at the start. Not sure why we had 12 men on the field at kick off lol.
I quite like that lineup. Ideally we'd have Lo Celso in for Winks and Son for Bergwijn (or maybe Lamela) but it's pretty balanced by our standards.

Encouraging to see Skipp start. I think even if he's a bit raw we absolutely need to start him over this period to provide some defensive cover. There's no-one else in the squad who can do that job at the moment.

The team returned to action with a training friendly against Norwich City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday.

Harry Kane, Moussa Sissoko, Heung-Min Son and Steven Bergwijn - all injured when the country went into lockdown to combat the coronavirus in March - were all back in action. Harry and Moussa had been out since January, Sonny since February and Steven was injured in our last Premier League match at Burnley on 7 March.

The session was divided into four quarters of 30 minutes.

Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul tipped Kane's shot onto the crossbar on 24 minutes and we took the lead soon after when Bergwijn got away down the left and Erik Lamela launched himself at the cross, connecting with a diving header that cannoned home off the underside of the crossbar. Kane, Lamela and Serge Aurier had chances as we continued to control matters in the second half-hour.

We made a number of changes for the third quarter, including the return of Son and Sissoko. Dele went close twice and Hugo Lloris saved well from Jamal Lewis. Youngsters Harvey White, Dennis Cirkin and George Marsh were introduced during the final quarter and Norwich struck twice in the final 10 minutes through Josip Drmic and a fine free-kick from Mario Vrancic.

Jose Mourinho will now work with the players at Hotspur Way this week before the long-awaited return of the Premier League and a huge game at home against Manchester United on Friday week, 19 June (8.15pm).

Typically the daily mail completely failed to mention the fact that game was split into 30 min quarters and was more of a glorified training excerise and instead just went with the fact we lost..

This is the first weekend I’ve woken up during lockdown and wished there was football on. I think because everything is starting up again etc I’m thinking about it again, looking forward to next week now!

Me too. Trouble is if we lose against United the rest of the season is basically pointless. Massive game.

The bit I hate is players saying well can’t afford to lose’ all over back of the Express.
Havent missed that side of football. I always wish they would just do their talking on the pitch

I really hope he gets his chance and takes it but it feels like a lot of people are pinning their hopes on him to pull up trees.

He seems tidy and likes to run but I am not so sure he is a DM and I am still thinking he is similar to Winks in that he has no real strength - just an all round game which might not be good enough for a top 4 club.

I hope I am wrong.

Why would they, where's the click bait in that?

I know what you mean! Sadly our players very rarely back up what they say in the press when it comes to must win games.

It’s ridiculous starting the football back up. When you’ve got situations like this. Surely our squad needs to self isolate now?

This just goes to show you they really have to abandon the season. Positive tests with players training or playing wouldnt be happening if tracing was done as it should be. They have to be contracting the virus somewhere. Squads will have to self isolate to be certain

unless it’s easy to get to the pitch level I doubt it as I believe when they use the Stadium for nfl they come out the east stand side but are at the nfl pitch level

How are they doing testing. Every day, every other day or a bigger gap? Surely the tests should be coming back before games, friendlies kick off.
