People complain about long balls but none of our players are showing for the ball enough. Makes it impossible to put a run of passes together.

All three in midfield need to be working harder.

revert back to Gio next to Winks, don't care what you do with ndombele but a lot of our problems are stemming from the center of the pitch.

Jose needs to change the tactics asap. They have an extra man in midfield all the time. Take off a CB and put a CM on.

ND got better with time and so did the whole team. Change of shape coming up, with Dele for Vertonghen/Davies. Tactically we still look something from the 80s though.

We make it so easy for teams by giving up the ball. Players like Barkley ha e no back tracking to do. I know Jose’s plan is to defend until the last twenty minutes hoping that the opposition teams playing the high press will run out of steam but it would be great to take the initiative in games!

We have to work out what he is, clearly not a DM as he doesn’t have a defensive bone in his body. We thought we were getting a box to box midfielder but think he now looks like he needs a free role
