We were quite poor in the first half and we improved during the second half, especially thre last twenty minutes, we created a few chances, but it was not to be tonight. COYS!!!!

Did the most running apparently, so clearly trying.

Our tactics do not support scoring goals. I really do feel like we are playing like a relegation candidate

Doing the most running is not everything.
Ali gives the ball away 50% of the time he gets it.
He can look pissed off on the bench all he likes the truth off the matter is we looked much better when he got subbed

Oh well, I had Spy in the Wild on in the background during the second half. Could glance at that for amusement and entertainment purposes!

We were beaten fair and square. Let's be honest we look void of ideas without Kane and Son.

The intensity was better the last 20 minutes. Ndombele and Lamela helped with that. But Leipzig backed off after their goal and protected their lead. Naturally we then had more possession etc. Hence, why all this "Why didn't we play like this from minute 1!!!???" is a failure to see the context of the match. Leipzig may be new to CL but they ain't mugs. An away win is the golden ticket in the CL.

I can't say I'm convinced that we can turn this around away in Leipzig. Let's hope this gave Mourinho some clues on what not to do against Chelsea.

Christ. What a disgraceful setup from Mourinho. Making us out to be some sort of underdog piss-poor version of Burnley. Thank god for Lloris, otherwise we would have been done and dusted already.

The thing is that we showed what we can do in the last 20. Jose clearly wants to keep it tight and then go for it. Problem is that a) we cant keep the ball well enough b) we keep making individual mistakes. Davies done similar against Juve. He gets caught blind or misjudged the ball. That was a terrible penalty to give away and will quite likely cost us the tie.

Winks, Lo Celso, Lamela and Ndombele the ones to come out with any credit after another poor performance
