Reminds me of a young William Gallas.
Think talk of making the squad for the Euros is a bit premature unless he nails down a place in central defence for us. He's not going to get in as full back cover as we have too much quality there and the other central defenders in the squad are nailed down starters for their respective clubs.
But he can play anywhere across the back line. Versatility counts a lot in tournaments, so if he continues to impress he might just earn a call up.
AS ROSEEEEEE WALKS AWAYYYYNot sure if this is already being done, but if not this has to be his song! Just seen it on a tweet by spurs.
Don't look back, Tanganga ?

Son, Alli and Kane,AS ROSEEEEEE WALKS AWAYYYY
DON'T LOOK BACK TANGANGAAA
I HEARD JOSE SAYYY
We have great specialists in all the positions though. He works as a good 'tucked-in' full back for us but he doesn't really have the technical ability to play as an attacking full back for England. No need to rush him anyway - the kid is only 20, plenty of time to work on getting a call up.
Son, Alli and Kane,
They know he can play as he's running on by,
The balls ours again,
Don't look back Tanganga,
I heard you say.
Like most youth players it takes a bit of an injury crisis for them to get in. Skipp is a very good player and I'd imagine his only chance will be an injury crisis. Who in the first team now would you want to see us leave out to play a youth player? That is essentially the managers dilemma. He had such a good preseason and should of been played more. Although now it is looking like it is a good thing he wasn't. He didn't get subjected to the start of the season's form. Now he's playing in a team with, any luck, a structure that suits him better.
Just shows though doesn't it, he's going to save us a good few quid in the transfer market, if there are any more knocking about at the club then maybe they should be given a go here and there.

Always an interesting. If credit is given to any manager for starting a player in a 2nd rate incompetent then Redknapp would have fathered an incredible amount of players. Skipp's had 2 PL starts the last being 10th Feb last year and played a total of 10mins of PL football this year. Would you consider him as brought through? I wouldn't. So, not sure a one chance for Tanganga can be credited to Poch. Can we say Poch gave him a chance (debut againat Colchester) or was it JM who shown him faith and gave him the chances to show his worth?
He was spoken about a lot (and rated) in the youth threads. What caught me by surprise was how explosive and pacy he is, because that was never mentioned.
For the youth watchers: anybody else down there who is an explosive athlete?
Skipp for Dier.
Don't get me wrong her, I love the boy and I love the fact that he's done ever so good since starting against Liverpool. Hopefully more to come from him over the next months. But and there's always a but, I don't like the thought of him playing LB and get all the cheer in world from us. He's only playing LB because A) Davies is injured, B) Rose were heading down a dark spiral and his performance began to slow down and C) Sessegnon isn't our new LB, obviously or else he would've claimed that spot a long time again. What will happen to him when Davies is back in action and we're currently playing with Toby and Sanchez/Jan. Is he gonna be that half-a-season-wonder that we vaguely remembered?
