Looking at the players walking off the pitch, Lo Celso looks absolutely gassed. Cant see him lasting longer than the 60th

Love that both goals were passed into the net. The sign of a skilful player.

I think he looked more comfortable at CB, but it has been another good 45 from the lad.

I think Jose is just giving him game time here. He's trying him out to see how he does as a full back as he knows he can rely on him in the centre. It gives us options.

I think Japhet has done really well as a makeshift right back. Not sure if he's played there in his youth career but he's taking up positions and getting forward really well. Sanchez hasn't been able to do that when he's been tried there.

Hmm i get what you mean but i would have told that traitor and his mom to fuck off.

Blimey? "Traitor"

Bloke tells Club 4 years ago he won't sign another longterm contract. Keeps his word. Now a "traitor".

"Fans" hey? Fuck me...

Was thinking more that we’re not passing to Sessegnon, has made some lovely runs but they’re not using him

I thought the same. Need to get him involved more. He’s looked good. I wonder if it’s because they want to keep the ball away from that side of the pitch.

Nice to hear positive chat about Lamela from the pundits. Often gets overlooked. Hope he stays fit and really hope Jose sticks with him.

Tanganga has looked pretty accomplished considering he’s so inexperienced and also playing out of position, has he surpassed Foyth??
Sessegnon looks to be growing into the team too.
The urgency Lo Celso and Lamela bring is key though, they press with intensity and look to move the ball positively.
Winks is looking more lively too, with targets to pass to moving forward.
Would like to see Skipp come on early second half and get some decent minutes.

He has. Foyth will never reach the top level.

Slightly odd half.
Mostly good, but some wayward passing and not even when trying to be progressive but simple stuff has too often been wayward.

The goals were well taken but you have to say they were gifted.

Tanganga is learning today, he has to be cautious not to get turned so easily or lose his man in the box. An ok performance, but it’s exactly these type of games that you learn consistency in.

What GLC and Lamela give you above all though is fight, gritty will to bite and get stuck in up the pitch, leading to mistakes from the opposition and more chance of winning the ball back in dangerous positions.

All ticking over fine, possibly should have been more clinical?! Should go through on, but would like an early 3rd goal to allow for some early subs.

Moura up front looks very tasty, quick, direct a handful, on the back of playing well Saturday.... Jose must play him upfront rather than wide
