I’ve been going pretty regularly since the early nineties and have sat in the south, east and north stand. I haven’t heard any personallyAnyone heard it? I have to admit it but I’ve heard abuse against Irish, which I am, well Northern Irish, anyone there tonight? Actually ashamed tonight, why do we lose our heads against these arseholes, time after time?
I'm not ashamed or embarrassed, because I take no responsibility for the behaviour of 60 odd thousand other football fans, who I have and will never meet, just because we support the same team.
In the same way I dont feel embarrassed or ashamed to be English when England fans decide to kick off and smash up whatever city England happen to be playing in...they don't represent me, just like the racist Spurs fans don't represent me.
I'm not going to be embarrassed or ashamed by association...this isn't like the Chelsea/West Ham support where they have entire stands hissing at us, this is a handful of cretins.
What surprises me, is that some people seem actually shocked that we have a racist element to our fanbase...every single club does, it's very naive to have thought we were different.

Why should I be responsible for something that I haven't done and I find abhorrent?I’m not surprised but we should take a collective responsibility, sorry doesn’t work that way for me. It’s not good enough to say *oh it wasn’t me^.

Mate I understand where you're coming from, but this isn't Tottenham's problem, it's not even football's problem...it's society's.Fair enough, but I don’t think that the way to solve this problem, I’m from a country where we have been saying “not my problem” for 40 years and it’s got us nowhere.
