One finished player for another. Tonight Dier has looked like someone who’s won a competition to be spurs captain for a day.

He has been so far of the pace lately that I can’t understand how he’s starting first team games, he should be getting up to speed in the reserves, not the champions league.

I get the long ball concerns but when your cm consists of Dier and Sissoko, two players who are sloppy with passes, it's a bit more understanding
