I missed it what happened. Son will miss 3 games now.

Essentially Son hacked down Gomes from behind and the momemtum took him into Aurier who was challenging from the other side and snapped something on Gomes when he got clattered by Aurier.

Just because a player is injured doesn't mean it's automatically a red card. Although, I don't want to watch that again so maybe it looks worse on second viewing or something.

They've given it on sons reaction and the injury even though it was the collision afterwards.

Martin Atkinson again, surprise surprise and you have the ability to talk to someone who can watch a replay in an instance.

Yeah, course.

I don't want to be that guy at this time. By why hasn't it been flagged up to the ref that it isn't a red from var footage?

Oh ...

On that replay Son surely doesn't deserve a red? Surely it's a bad foul and a yellow but it's the collision with Aurier that snaps the leg?

Confused here as commentary saying just a yellow and then replay shows his tackle wasn't that bad?

Ironically it was the landing / collision with Aurier that did the damage...

A bit moot, given Gomes injury, but not sure that was a red for Son
