Fair enough, the highlights made us look fairly lively.

Some astonishing Christian Eriksen stats were quoted on one of the Facebook pages via Squawka Football - which, if they’re accurate, put Poch’s team selection judgement under even more pressure:

Take-ons attempted: 0
Chances created: 0
Shots attempted: 0
Interceptions: 0
Tackles made: 0

He also received a yellow card and lost possession more than any other player on the pitch (16 times) ...

... cant be true surely?
The One that annoyed me most was that he could have stopped the ball from coming into the box for the equaliser. But just jumped and turned out of the way.

That was Lo Celso, not Eriksen and besides don't think you can attach much blame to anyone, no one expected him to play a first time cross on the volley into the danger area, ridiculous technique.

My mate said he looked like a 7 year old girl going to ask her friend if she could borrow her skipping rope. It was Eriksen too. He could have stopped their RB from passing to Mina, who then put the ball across to Digne.

It’s just not about ability alone, our team has ability. If some of these players had the heart of players like Jenas, Dawson and Robinson, who all came under criticism by Spurs fans at one time or another, we’d have more games like the 6-2 and less of the 1-1.

I don’t think it was. But I will stand corrected if true.

If his legs were 20 yards long maybe, but hey don’t let little facts like that get in the way.

maybe my memory was wrong. And this video didn’t capture it. But just before the cross field pass came in. The was an opportunity for Eriksen to cut out the pass. I thought that at the time. But Anyway it’s a little incidental. Thanks for posting the goal though ?

Sorry but Aurier’s tackle broke his leg. If you go to twitter you can still see pictures galore of his foot full on Gomes’ ankle, full weight. None was on purpose, it was bad luck, but I’m pretty sure it was the second tackle as he fell that broke things.
oh shit
