I've been very impressed with Mings at Villa. Looks a real leader.
Berge would have made a world of difference
What are Jack Clarke and Sessegnon? Also what is the lad from Notts County Etete or whatever his name is?The bit in bold.
This frustrates me about Spurs now. What happened to the club who identified young talent (mainly English/British) and would continue to look to at least bring in one (maybe two) in a window? Have we suddenly become too good for that? Just because someone thought the njie's and nkoudous of this world were worth the punt and we have been burnt (not to mention the Janssen project) doesn't mean we should stop altogether. Who's idea is it not to look to purchase (and take punts) on 'talented' youth if he isn't going to promote from within?
The loan for young Clarke is shambles, but on the topic of loans, why, if management won't give them time off of the bench (if they make the bench) are the likes of Skipp etc not seeing Championship loans? KWP is someone that looks like he could have benefited from such a loan as now he seems to be in no-mans-land in the first team.
So many questions with seemingly few answers.
He is merciless.I've been very impressed with Mings at Villa. Looks a real leader.
Clarke hasn’t had one minute playing time at Leeds and most games not even in squad!!! Talk of him being recalled and loaned out elsewhere. Roles doing well, but at Cambridge. Carter-Vickers getting good game time at struggling Stoke. Sessegnon injured. What are Jack Clarke and Sessegnon? Also what is the lad from Notts County Etete or whatever his name is?
It takes foresight forward planning and to be knowledgeable of when to recycle a team. As I’ve said before Alex Ferguson was the master Arsene Wenger failed from the invincible and did plan for George Graham famous back 5 , Eddie Howe in recent times has been backed financially and has built numerous teams.
Pochettino hasn’t really been able imo and has worked with one hand tied behind his back
People will totally disagree and state it’s been declining for 9 months etc etc and that we have good players ... just me opinion
What has been Pochettino best buys since he came ? Toby Son MouraAll I'd add is that Poch seems to be the one who stubbornly sticks to the same faces. We've brought in a lot of players under him, but he tends to refused to play or start the vast majority, regardless of form. There aren't many who are as strange as he is with new signings - it's like they have a 6 month course before they are allowed to play.

The same players are picked because that’s what his had to deal with. You can’t say that Pochettino doesn’t rotate players. We’ve been unlucky with injuries too .

And he’s on record as saying Lucas wasn’t his decision.
I’ve never been convinced of Poch spotting a player transfer wise and have said so many times with many negative ratings to follow. Bet it’s different now.
Lol... Do you not remember Pochettinho wasn't at all pleased with some of our earlier recruitment we kept going for second or third choices targets. You mentioned Son and Moura when they were bought Pochettinho did play then...well we wasn't doing bad at all so it was right to integrate them gradually into the team. Lamela Ali Eriksen were formidable behind Kane in his earlier times let's not forget ( out of convenience to make a point)I think there's enough data out there for this to not need opinion; look how many we've bought, and how many actually got games. How many games Moura/Son had to sit out of until they got a chance (Son almost left because of it)
Pochettinho wanted Malcom or Zaha ahead of Moura. That's what I'm saying Pochettinho needs to given more power on players coming in.And he’s on record as saying Lucas wasn’t his decision.

I think Levy is releasing more funds. Our wage bill has gone up and we have spent out on 3 expensive players this summer.Lol... Anyway we all want the best for Tottenham. I'm sure you do too. I just believe Pochettinho given the tools can do this. It's now time for Levy release more funds regardless if that's with Pochettinho or not.

What fans need to stop saying is "we need to get Poch's top targets." Really easy to say but we need to get these players ahead of top quality opposition. This will mean sometimes we get his second choice or no one. That's just the reality but fans moan about it.
People are saying get his top targets because it rarely happens and we end up trying to shift the dead wood.I think Levy is releasing more funds. Our wage bill has gone up and we have spent out on 3 expensive players this summer.

Because it is simplistic nonsense. Getting your number one targets is not as simple as some make out. The selling team can ask for huge money, the agent can keep changing the goal posts, the player might get an offer from a bigger club and a whole range of issues can occur.People are saying get his top targets because it rarely happens and we end up trying to shift the dead wood.
Whats wrong in saying get your number targets?
What nonsense. If you expect a club to move forward without getting your prime targets you will just stand still especially when you buy players that ain't better than what you already have .Because it is simplistic nonsense. I understand a child playing Fifa can believe a manager can write up a list of players and then get them is simple and possible. But for grown men to think it is simply based on whether the chairman puts up the funds is a bit embarrassing.
