Showing signs of his old self under AVB Jan the sulker Vertonghen he’s just switched on at the moment.

he also looked like a slug in the race with gnabry legs finally going maybe

Gnabry left our whole team is his wake last night, so by that logic all our players legs are gone.

Our biggest issue was that we were just too open, disorganised, losing possession cheaply in dangerous areas and were giving quality players too much time to pick a pass/cross.

Once Gnabry was goal side, very few players were going to catch him.

Maybe we need to seperate the two Belgians now and add some youth/speed to prepare long term.

Vertonghen and Sanchez did well as a pair when Alderweireld was injured / out of favour.

Alderweireld and Foyth on paper looked decent the few times they played last season (Chelsea at wembley in the league was a total domination for example).

The thing is we're not gonna actually know if it's true or not. Obviously the player(s) will play it down. It actually looks like it has legs.. imo

In the midst of pretty much everything spurs being depressing at the moment, thanks very much for this laugh.

Theyre not getting much protection, thats why Winks is playing i think - he adds a bit of pace to our defending.
