Still slightly confusing if he’s injured or not. Seems quite insistent in interviews his fine but official site tweeted about groin.

It's still minutes. For me it's no different to giving players time in League Cup/early FA Cup games to build match-fitness.

This is exactly my point, we can't expect players to get match fit if they're not playing matches, friendly or not.

What has he said? I do find it quite odd that if he is weeks off full fitness according to Poch and obly playing the last 10 mins of gaems for us, how the hell is he starting games for Argentina (friendly or not).

I can remember Wayne Rooney agitating for a move and saying that his relationship with Fergie had reached an "irretrievable breakdown". Ferguson convinced him to stay and got him to sign a new contract.
true and that would be the ideal outcome but this isn't a clash between Eriksen and poch, this is Eriksen wanting to move and try something new and make a step up to a 'bigger' club. Fergie also got rid of Keane, BEckham, Van Nistelrooy to name a few. No one player is bigger than the club.

That's a good point about Keane and co., but I'm not sure that Fergie would always get rid of a player just because they wanted to leave. As far as I know Eriksen isn't usually a disruptive influence at the club like Keane and Beckhams lifestyle could be. I'm sure he convinced a few players like Rooney, Scholes and Schmiechel to stay on for an extra few years when they were thinking about leaving.

Surely there comes a point when you have to question the training methods? Are they training TOO hard and it's why they get knackered quickly in matches? Always injured. It's not just some, it's pretty much the whole team last year spent time out with injuries.

We regularly have half a team of starters injured for each match. It's ridiculous and I strongly suspect our training/conditioning has a part to play in all the muscle injuries we get.

Outside of freak injuries like ACLs and the like, Liverpool basically have a full squad for every match. It's why Alisson's minor calf strain was headline news.

Lo Celso : We deserved a bit more. We had a lot of chances to convert but it wasn't to be. My problem was only a blow, it is not something to worry about.”

lets see our luck is shocking

That wont stop us

We might as well write him off this season.

Surely Poch talking about his fitness is just a case of him keeping the pressure off about selection.

He came off because of a groin injury, not the ankle challenge he sustained in the first half (y)

Even if that is the case, he's away with Argentina and injuries happen. I'm not a fan of this blaming Poch for injuries agenda, we don't know what happens behind the scenes it's all speculative and I'm pretty sure with the technology available these days that our fitness teams would be aware of prime levels of what players can get pushed to. Tweaks and strains happen, it's sport not office work.
