We should start laying the groundwork to bring Sancho in next.

That’s going to be the most insane transfer saga of next summer if he repeats his form this year. With Liverpool and Chelsea spending nothing this summer and United going huge for English talent it could be an epic bidding war. Would City get involved? I think it’ll be the biggest transfer in PL history.

Don’t think we’ll be involved unfortunately.

If we have another good season like finishing a minimum 3rd in the PL I don't see why not.

We may jump in to bust the price up but not a chance we meet the wages he could be offered by others

I actually think this has slipped nicely under the radar, HUGE potential and could be a star.
Bags of talent already, Poch loves these types of players.
Outside shot for a squad place at the euros

Why do you think outside shot? I assumed he was a given to be rostered since he is considered a locally trained player.

He interviews very well for a 19 year old - sounds very level headed and confident. He plays with intelligence too.

I don't think he's super eye catching as such - he's not a spectacular player - but I think he'll prove to be a great signing

Always liked this kid since I first saw him play. Shame he did not come to us last year as I think he has wasted a year but he is super talented and will add more to us than we realise. I am more excited about him than the others but I suspect that is only because I have seen more of him playing

Ryan Sessegnon's Deadline Day move to Tottenham from Fulham almost fell through

Ryan Sessegnon's Deadline Day move to Tottenham almost fell through because Fulham wanted to use the funds to sign Michael Hector, according to Sky sources.

Sessegnon signed a five-year deal with Spurs with the option for an extra year after the two clubs agreed a fee of £25m, potentially rising to £30m, Sky Sports News understands.

But the deal almost broke down at the eleventh hour as Fulham were looking to sign Chelsea defender Hector after wrapping up Sessegnon's sale.

Negotiations over the 19-year-old took longer than expected, to the point where Fulham director Tony Khan was willing to allow the player run down the remaining year of his contract and potentially allow him to leave on a free transfer next summer.

The deal to take the winger to north London wasn't signed off until after 3.30pm, and the official announcement was made at 5.45pm, 45 minutes after the deadline.

That left little time to conclude a deal for Hector, who eventually ended up staying at Stamford Bridge - although Fulham are expected to go back in for him in January, Sky Sports News understands.

Jamaica international Hector spent last season on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, scoring two goals in 37 appearances in the Championship.

I think the exciting thing about RS is the combination of raw talent and pace coupled with a level of footballing intelligence that is very rare to see in a player his age. His decision making is excellent and he seems incredibly mature for an 18 year old, can't wait to see what he can do with Poch's help.

For a player of his age to have already shown end product in the Championship and in the PL tells me all I need to know. Nurture him carefully and he'll become a star.

Came here to post this.

I guess that's why we had a sudden surge of journos claiming it had hit an impasse? Glad it was sorted as this signing will be extremely important.

The more I watch him play the more excited I get to see how he can develop here as I think he has absolutely everything in his locker to be world class.
