What an open and honest interview, spontaneous stuff that answered so many questions.
Normally I'd miss that stuff.
Normally I'd miss that stuff.
I think its because he tries things all the time and obviously sometimes they dont come off but when they do its brilliant.Ironic these match threads. Every time these last few matches when there's an heated debate wether Eriksen has been shite or not - He comes up with a goal or assist.
He never gets a rest as he's the only one we've got who can do what he does. Need him to avoid injury at all costsAs for Eriksen - his quality does go a bit unnoticed sometimes. I've come to the conclusion he overthinks the delivery and striking of the ball, which is why he has lost form on corners and freekicks.
When he hasn't the luxury to think, he makes passes others can only dream of.
He should just come off set pieces and remove that negative from his game for a while!
It started when Sissoko went off. He’d been winning the ball back relentlessly and then he was gone, replaced by Skipp, who tried a more positional, less aggressive form of holding play. One small observation I thought our holding players could have done better in front of our defense, got a little queasy for 15mins there at 2 nil.
Dunno about that, but he's definitely bright like dogs bright.Son like cheetah.
From the BBC live report
Assist king
Tottenham 4-0 Huddersfield
Christian Eriksen registered his 60th Premier League assist in the game, eight more than any other player since his debut in the competition in September 2013
I know he has to put the best face on the result, but Siewart saying the score didn't reflect their quality is a bit much.
Eh?? Foyth was outstandingGreat performance by Foyth?
What are you watching?
He lost his man how many times?
He wasnt awful but he also wasnt outstanding by any stretch. Did well going forward but he lost his man a lot.Eh?? Foyth was outstanding
Cant recall him putting a foot wrong other that the yellow card challenge. Sprayed some fantastic passes made good runs and great tackles...He wasnt awful but he also wasnt outstanding by any stretch. Did well going forward but he lost his man a lot.
Loved Wanyama's goal by the way. Proper old-fashioned driving run forward from midfield to pick up the loose ball, and finished it in wonderfully nonchalant fashion.
Its easily been Wanyama's best game in over a year - maybe all the time off really was necessary to get fully healed.
He lost his man like 4 times in the 10’ spell that Huddersfield actually tried going forward.Cant recall him putting a foot wrong other that the yellow card challenge. Sprayed some fantastic passes made good runs and great tackles...
