some of the videos i’m seeing of the ground, the build up, fans in the bar singing - genuinely, i’m welling up. it looks fucking fantastic, well done to each and every spurs fan that went and created that atmosphere. spine tingling stuff.

Surely Fernandinho has to be banned for the second leg for that elbow on Kane?

That was the most fun I've had at Spurs since WHL. The south stand was non-stop, unreal atmosphere at times.

Another one I'm not sure the rules on, but if the ref saw it doesn't that mean that no retrospective punishment can be given? I hope not because that <unmentionable> needs to be feel the full force of the law.

It comes under the same law when a player makes a tackle in the area and the ball goes away from the goal for a corner but a foul is made after making contact with the ball. The 'pool keeper knocked it out for a corner but it hit the defenders arm. In the letter of the law City's penalty should have been retaken but no one on here would agree.

Scenes tonight. Lost my voice. Was in the Park lane corner next to the shelf and my ears were ringing. Not heard a sound like that at a match before if I’m honest

Couldn’t hear the city fans at all - probably the worst I have seen in the CL apart from Madrid

Have to do it again now but they will be nervous of conceding a goal if they go all out

Very interesting stat in that article. Must stress that it's just interesting, not an indication or predictor of anything, but apparently every time we have won the first leg of a European tie, which we've done nine times, we've progressed to the next round. Let's make it an even 10!
