This is the Rabiot thread, it's exactly where we should be talking about Rabiot.

How about you stop posting in here, not even mentioning the player, just complaining about people posting - that's annoying and dumb!
You’re annoying and dumb if you think he’s coming here :D.

So, if they haven’t said ‘no’, but are in mourning (totally understandable from a human perspective), if they do want him to leave Paris, they will need to give an answer or see him stuck for 6 more months.

None taken Doc, it's straw-clutching at best, but I just wanted to point out that clubs denying interest usually suggests the interest is genuine!

It's the same circumstances that many of us faced back in middle school when the girls seemed to be ignoring us. You knew that they were completely into you because no one could fake such disinterest.

Rabiot is still on.

Come on Levy, pull something out of the hat.

The only thing Levy will be pulling is his plonker when we navigate another transfer window in profit.

I keed. I like ol' nude nut, but our recruitment policy is pretty mind-boggling at times.

I feel that he needs out and he needs to be playing football soon, but is waiting for someone else. If no one else comes in for him he may well come to us. Not sure I like that very much tho.

If he helps us win a trophy or two I'll forgive him. He obviously has been advised of certain clubs that he could be playing for, if they don't come in and he is no longer wanted at PSG, he has to go somewhere. Plus he is still young, young enough to join us and rethink about long term future if everything fell into place.

There are three days left of the window and no solid links to anyone.

Just give up hoping chaps, it’s easier.
Yep, this is when I figured we weren't doing anything this summer. About 5 days out and there were zero credible links/ITK.

Depressing but you're right. Disgraceful from the board, or Levy, really. The most credible pundit (ex professional and very proficient in the financial part of the game) in Sweden today did quite a lengthy segment about Spurs and the recent Deloitte money league publication. Highlighted how abnormal our extreme penny pinching is considering how a small % we allocate to players wages in regards to our revenue and whatnot. Very interesting and in the end the conclusion basically was that we without any problem at all could push on in mostly the wages department but also the signing fees. I'm dumbing it down quite a lot but that was the gist of it.

You’re just bitter because you can’t use the cheese room this season aren’t you.

He was a good player at the time. The collapse of his move and fallout clearly affected him badly.

He was OK, but the way people posted about him on here, you would have thought he was a world beater. Shame it didn't work out for him. Glad we didn't get him.

With 3 days left to go and no solid links, I’ve no doubt in my mind that this isn’t happening. Shame, I really think he could have been what we need.

As could Youri Tielemans, available for the same price as Rabiot but apparently going to Leicester.

But the market will be blamed, I’m sure.
Tielemans is the kind of player we should be buying. I personally think we need someone to identify and buy the talent and Poch just train the team. It seems he is an obstacle at the moment to new signings.
