A great FA Cup tie.
A very rude awakening for MoPo and his cup "strategy".

I have two wishes:
1) Never to experience that again.
2) That we actually find a way of wanting to WIN the damn trophy.

To continue to treat the FA Cup with such disrespect is hard to take from a true Spurs supporter brought up with the hope and the glory of that trophy. It's winnable, it's Wembley and it's a freaking trophy that our starting X1 could win and SHOULD WANT TO WIN.

Too many games? Protect ALL the players for Sunderland away? Jeezuz H Christ - that thinking needs revising.

Well that won't do the heart much good but glad we're still in the competition & that we have seen we do not have adequate cover in certain positions.... right before deadline day....

Actually feel sorry for them. They played really well and I think we were a bit complacent. I think they deserved to have another crack at us at home in front of their fans. Can be a cruel game.

I can't feel sorry for a team that pulls the shirts of our players for 97 minutes.

the entire commentary in my stream was saying how deservedly Wycombe was in getting their goals and they should be getting away with something.. but ffs, while we brought some faults to ourselves, I really didn't see how undeserving we are in making our own luck through an improved 2nd half!

Thought Son was wasteful initially but you could say he came through in the end!

Really enjoyed that games despite feeling rock bottom at the thought of going out to Wycombe but fair play to them, shame for them that they couldn't take it back to their ground!

A few players shown up a little bit today unfortunately and not really helped themselves for further chances. Poch did say that this was a chance for players to show they have a future here at Spurs (or something to that effect) and not many fringe players staked their claim.

How pathetic the likes of Newcastle and Brighton can't even put out a strong team. This competition on its knees

Poch did not "disrespect" the Cup - he played a side he expected to win - we all expected to win comfortably. Some players hurt themselves with their performance today, but thats not on the manager, imo.

Well played Wycombe and we were lucky. I have chewed all my finger nails and started on my toe nails......gulped gallons of lager with the stress and the wife is just peeling me off the ceiling. Crazy game but credit to Wycombe for giving it a go.

Dear Poch in future please take this cup seriously to stop us dedicated Spurs fans from going through this again to a lower league side.
