Didn't think I'd see him move off of 4231 so soon, but we were obviously in a bad enough situation with players not being adaptable to it he had to make the change.

I think he might revisit it for CP. Vlad does make 4231 more viable now though and walker is back so who knows.
One of the main problem with 4231 not working was lack of proper FB support going forward.

What do people see in Stambouli?

Don't get me wrong but he offers nothing going forward, There's no point playing him if he's with Bentaleb.

Paulinho, Dembele or Mason should play next to Bentaleb as box to box

Eriksen and Mason looked knackered against Chelsea and wouldn't surprise me if changes. Lamela doesn't deserve to start. Soldado has to start. Get the win, then hopefully can rest all the usual first 11 against Besiktas and until Swansea away.

Chadli in for Eriksen, otherwise your side is bang on. Need Lennon in there, for lack of better options, if we're going to play two up top. How far away are Walker and Naughton?

Wasn't factoring in walker. Not sure when he'll be brought back; he's close but poch might be careful with him.

Some players really need the rest evidenced from yesterday.

- we need stability in back 4 hence my players, else Dier should replace knackered Verts

Bentaleb
Stambouli - can't see a better game to give him a PL start, and Mason has been playing so much, he really started to become ineffective against Chelsea

Lennon
Lamela - Eriksen to be given a short rest
Kane

Soldado

That said, I am influenced by what Danny Mills said of Mourinho post match yesterday... with regards to rotation... He said, winning players don't want to stop playing, and Mourinho knows that and is a top notch man manager, so even if he rotates, he will at most change 1, max 2 players... nothing wholesale.

So maybe Stambouli for Mason, else same first XI against Everton.
